Acting upon a simple joke he made in the desert, when the group reaches Rainbase, Sanji dons a pair of sunglasses and calls himself Mr. Prince. He plays the role of Mr. Prince right up to his battle with Bon Kurei when he takes off his glasses and finally calls himself Sanji once again.

Sanji had Chopper call himself “Mr. Prince” during a battle in the streets of Rainbase to throw Mr. 0 off guard. This ended up being an error on Mr. 0's part that cost him a victory.

Because of how he handles himself during his battle with the ambiguous Mr. 2 (and Sanji hates ambiguity) the okama feels that he has a special kinship with Sanji and becomes a great friend of the crew after the B.W. conflict is over.

Sanji grew up in North Blue. This was revealed when he talked about the children’s story he read when he was a youngster, “Norland the Liar”.

Sanji's refusal to kick women was first proven during his battle with Calipha during the Enies Lobby battle. Although he displayed superior strength and skills, he would not fight back because she was a woman. It is not related to what he feels may be a difference in strength between sexes, he simply cannot bring himself to injure a female. This policy carried through to Thriller Bark where even his shadow refused to injure a 'female' after being placed into a zombie.

Fans have often speculated over what would happen whether Sanji ate a Devil's Fruit or not. As it turns out, it looks like that will never happen. Sanji was only interested in eating one Devil's Fruit, the Suke Suke Fruit which gave the user the ability to make themselves invisible. He would have given up the ability to swim without a second thought if it meant he'd be able to peep on women's bathro-...er...to help people, yeah, that's the ticket. Unfortunately Thriller Bark's Absalom destroyed Sanji's dream since he had already eaten the Suke Suke Fruit. However, Sanji's obsession with the fruit aided him during his battle with the beast since he had already run all of the possibilities of using the fruit's powers through his head countless times. Since Sanji has no interest in any other Devil's Fruit it does not seem that he will ever consume one.
