When Nami replaces the tattoo on her shoulder after deciding to join Luffy for good, the final image is a pinwheel with an mikan growing from it. It represents Genzo’s pinwheel and the mikans that Bellemere grew.

The pinwheel on Genzo’s hat is not just a strange ornament. When Nami was still a baby, Genzo wanted to make her laugh, but being such a rugged old man, he just made Nami cry. Genzo put a pinwheel in his hat to make Nami laugh and it worked. He wore the pinwheel as long as Nami needed encouragement to smile.

Briefly mentioned in her profile, Nami has the ability to search women. This comes in handy during the Enies Lobby arc where Nami searches Calipha for a key hidden somewhere on (or in) her body. Given Oda's coy response to a reader who asks about the whereabouts of the key, which was not revealed in the comic, t may be assumed it was either hidden in a very private place.
