Over the years, I've received countless, "Who is so-and-so?", questions. And while I don't mind answering them, due to the fact that I get so many, I'm only able to put little one-sentence blurbs like, "A guy who upgrades Gohan's power.". I figured that just MAYBE you might possibly want to know a little bit more about each character, or maybe you just want to know a character's name. Well, here it is ladies and gentleman! The Complete Character Guide! Every single character in the DB/Z anime, manga and movies are all listed here. I translated this information myself from DB Daizenshyu 7, so keep in mind, there are no GT characters listed here. It's taken me quite some time to translate all of these, and I may add GT characters here at a later date, but not right now. The characters are listed alphabetically in Japanese. I should also mention that you can use this section in conjunction with Fists of the Dragon to find out which attacks some of the characters below can perform.

A Quick Lesson in Japanese


Before you begin, I'd like to point out that most of the time I will be giving you two versions of some characters' names. The first name will be the exact Japanese translation. Following that will be the character's Romanji, OR translated name. For example: Uubu/Uub. Uubu is the exact translation of the name, but it is meant to be Uub. Got it? Great! For the Japanese illiterate, Romanji is Japanese closely translated into English letters. Also, here's an extra little Japanese lesson, so you'll be able to pronounce some names which I couldn't translate, or don't translate into English.

The letter "a" has a long sound. Like in the word "Father".

The letter "i" is pronounced like the "e" in "Greedy".

The letter "u" is pronounced like the "o" in the word "Boo".

The letter "e" is pronounced like "a" in the word "Day".

The letter "o" is pronounced like the word "Oh".

When the letters "ou" appear next to each other, they make a long "uu" sound. For example: "Gokou".

When the letters "ai" appear next to each other, they make an sound like "ie" in the word "Die".

The letters "tsu" are hard to explain. Place your tongue at the roof of your mouth as if you were going to pronounce a "t", but instead of "t" say the word "zoo". It should sound like the word "zoo", but with a sharp beginning. It's pronounced quickly and when listening to a Japanese person say it, it just sounds like they're saying "su".

When the letters "oo" appear next to each other, just make a long "Oooh" sound.

The letters "ei" are pronounced like "ey" in the word "Hey".

That concludes your lesson for today! That's very basic stuff, but it's just about all you'll need to be able to pronounce the words below.

  1. Aqua*- A strange little competitor in the Annoyoichi Budoukai. He resembles a man crossed with a fish, and while he's a terrible fighter on land, even Gokou isn't much of a match for him underwater.

  2. Akuman "Devil Man"- One of Uranai Baba's nastiest fighters. He gave Gokou a run for his money and tried to explode his heart by expanding the evil inside it, but unfortunately for him, he didn't know that Gokou had a pure heart.

  3. Apuuru "Apple"- One of Freeza's henchmen on Nameck. His life is extinguished by Vegita when he escapes from the healing tank.

  4. Amondo "Almond"*- That big sucker that looks like an Indian in DBZ Movie 3, "The Ultimate Decisive Battle for Earth". Or, in America, Tree of Might. He's killed by Gokou.

  5. Angira*- A pretty-boy villain from DBZ Movie 4, "Super Saiya-jin Son Gokou". He was almost certainly modeled after Zarbon in his mannerisms. He looks like a Greek God with horns sticking out of his head. He's killed by getting his head blown off. He swallows his own ki attack when Gokou deflects it back at him.

  6. Annai Oni "Ogre Intern"-The effeminate Ogre who escorts Gokou to the Serpent Path.

  7. Annin*- The female guardian of the Furnace of Eight Divinations at a border between the world and the after-life.

  8. Iedei "Yeti"*- The giant mutant monster that Vegita and Nappa kill on the planet Arlia.

  9. Ieroo Taisa "Yellow Taisa"- One of the high ranking members of the Red Ribbon Army. He's one of the many Animal Person characters and he happens to be a tiger. He's killed by Gokou who punches him out of his own plane.

  10. Iiero Taisa no Buka "Yellow Taisa's Junior Officer"- One of Yellow's subordinates killed by Bora.

  11. Ikose- The cocky fourteen year-old who faces off against Goten in the Children's Division of the 25th Tenkaichi Budoukai and gets KO'ed with a mere tap from Goten's fist. He was born in 760 AD.

  12. Idaasa- This is Ikose's fifteen year-old brother. He's dealt a similar defeat in the Children's Division by Trunks. He was born in 759 AD.

  13. Idaasa no Mama "Idaasa's Mom"-This ball of blubber is rude and crude to Buruma and Chichi while sitting in the stands at the 25th Tenkaichi Budoukai. She boasts about how her sons will defeat both of their children, and when both of her children lose pathetically, she absolutely flips out, but Chichi knocks her lights out. She later reveals the location of Trunks' hometown to Babidi.

  14. Inoshikachyou*- A very large (and odd-looking) wild boar which Tenshinhan and Chaozu use as part of their con act. They tell the creature to destroy a town, so it does. Tenshinhan and Chaozu then step forward and offer to kill the beast for money. Obviously they pretend to kill it, and they get the townspeople's money. They go from town to town doing the same thing, until Gokou messes up their evil plans.

  15. Iruka "Dolphin"- A friendly dolphin that gives Gokou and Chichi directions to Kame Sennin's house.

  16. Ireeza "Eliza"- A blonde girl in Gohan's class at Orange Star High School who has a bit of a crush on him, but never directly approaches him about it. She sits right next to him.

  17. Intabiyuaa "Interviewer"- The man who interviews Mr. Satan during his first appearance in the manga.

  18. Uubu "Uub"- The good reincarnation of Buu as a human. He's a little black boy from a poor village who Gokou meets at the 28th Tenkaichi Budoukai. At first he seems to have no power, but when Gokou makes him angry, his true power shows and he even hurts Gokou's arm when he kicks it. He agrees to go with Gokou to train at Kami's Palace so that he can control and improve his power. He was born just a few months after Buu was killed in the year 774 AD.

  19. Oolong- Everyone's favorite perverted pig. He plays a large role in the beginning of Dragon Ball, but by the end of DBZ, he just shows up from time to time. His favorite hobby is collecting women's underwear. He ends up saving the world when he interrupts Pilaf's wish to be ruler of the world, and gets a pair of panties instead. He was born in the year 740 AD. He's 3' 9" tall and weighs 71 lbs. Oolong is capable of Change, where he can transform into any form he desires, but since he was thrown out of Shape-Changing School for stealing the teacher's underwear, he did not perfect the technique and can only hold a shape for five minutes, at which point he will return to normal. However large he may become, he still has the same amount of power as his real self. He used this technique to his advantage when he first showed up in the series. He terrorized a village and stole the young women in it to be his brides. But the plan backfired and all the women he stole became spoiled brats whom HE served.

  20. Oolong no Neratsuta Musume "Oolong's Planned Servant Girl"- The little Indian girl Oolong wanted to capture from a village and make his wife and servant.

  21. Ueburi- One of the young competitors in the Children's Division of the 25th Tenkaichi Budoukai. He loses because he throws a crying fit.

  22. Uketsuke no Oyaji "Receptionist Man"- The man who registers fighters in the Tenkaichi Budoukai.

  23. Usagi Dan Danin "Rabbit Gang Members"- The two machine-gun toting members of the Rabbit Gang who terrorize a town.

  24. Upa- The little Indian who accompanies Gokou for a short time in order to recover all of the Dragon Balls so he can wish his father, Bora, back to life. Upa a member of the Indian tribe who serve as the gaurdians of Karin Tower. His father is the chief, however, the rest of the tribe is not seen until the end of the manga. He participates in the fight against Uranai Baba's thugs and manages to defeat the Vampire with garlic breath.

  25. Umigame "Sea Turtle"- Kame Sennin's pet turtle. During DBZ he celebrates his 1,000th birthday in episode 117. He plays a relatively small part in the manga, but he has quite a few large roles in the anime. When he first appeared, he was in the wilderness, alone and lost. He was picking mushrooms when he got seperated from his friends and had since been wandering around on land for over a year. Gokou kindly takes on the task of returning him to the ocean. It is Umigame who introduces Kame Sennin to Gokou, Buruma and Oolong.

  26. Uranai Baba "Fortune Telling Granny"- This old witch is Kame Sennin's sister who has the unique ability to see the future in her crystal ball. She's about 500 years old and her home address is FS199644CC. She'd be more than happy to tell you your future. All you have to do is pay her 10 billion Zeni, or defeat her five "other-worldly" martial arts experts.

  27. Earobi no Onna no Hito- "Aerobics Woman" This is the woman who teaches the aerobics classes on TV that Kame Sennin always drools over.

  28. Eihei Taichyou "Head Guard"- The King's personal bodyguard. Piccolo Daimaou kills him dropping him out of the King's private escape jet.

  29. HTV no Jyosei Intabyuaa "HTV's Woman Interviewer"- Just what it sounds like. An interviewer for channel HTV. She tries to interview Piccolo and Vegita at the 25th Tenkaichi Budoukai, but they ignore her.

  30. NBS no Anaunsa "NBS's Announcer"- The announcer for channel NBS. He covers the story of Piccolo Daimaou.

  31. Ebifuriya*- The villain from DBZ Movie 2, "The World's Strongest Man", who can freeze victims with a blast from his hand.

  32. Emi "Amy"*- One of the children aboard the ship of orphans that Kuririn, Gohan and Buruma become trapped in, on their way to Nameck. (She's the one who kicks Kuririn in the shin).

  33. Enjiira "Angela"*- The girl who develops a quick, but fickle crush on Gohan. She goes on one date with him.

  34. Enma Daiou "Great Demon King"- The giant god of the ogres who decides if people go to Heaven or Hell when they die. He grants Gokou permission to trabel on the Serpent Path to try and reach Kaiou's planet.

  35. Oodako "Great Octopus"- A gigantic octopus Gokou does battle with. He beats it with the Kame Hame Ha and eats some of it afterward. Cooked octopus is a delicay in Japan.

  36. Oorinji no Senpai Tachi "Elders of the Many Tree Temple"- Kuririn's elders that beat him up for fun when he was in the Orinji Temple.

  37. Ookane Mani "Ookane Money"*- The wife of the richest man in the world. She plays a ridiculously small part in DBZ Movie 9.

  38. Otoko Ookami "Man-Wolf"- A wolf who turns into a man when he looks into a full moon. He faces Kame Sennin in the 22nd Tenkaichi Budoukai and is disqualified, but Kame Sennin cures his problem. He was born in 719 AD. He's 5' 7" tall and weighs 177 lbs. His address is XS89001JB.

  39. Otoko Suki "I Like Men"- An outrageously gay competitor in the 28th Tenkaichi Budoukai. He's even dressed in black leather, but he's built like an ox.

  40. Obo Chyaman- One of the many inhabitants of Penguin Village, (the main town in Akira Toriyama's other manga Dr. Slump). A lot of the old characters show up in a short series of installments where Gokou and Blue Shogun end up in Penguin Village by mistake. This particular fellow was made to mock the famous Astro Boy character from a VERY old anime and manga.

  41. Omawari san "Police Officer"- The friendly police officer in the West Capital who helps Gokou locate Buruma's house.

  42. Oribu "Olive"*- A big hulking competitor in the Annoyoichi Budoukai. He looks like Hercules. Gokou and him become friends.

  43. Gariku "Garlic"*- The father of Garlic Jr., born in the year 300 AD. He competed with the original Piccolo for the seat of Kami, but was not able to ascend to the throne because the previous Kami saw his evil ambitions. He revolted, but was sealed away in an negative space.

  44. Gariku Jyuniya "Garlic Junior"*- Garlic's son born to complete his father's dream and take vengeance. He was the main villain in DBZ Movie 1, "Return My Gohan!". At the end of the movie he was sealed in the Dead Zone, but he later reappeared in the anime after the Freeza saga with some more evil compadres, but was sealed away in the Dead Zone again.

  45. Kita no Kaiou "Kaiou of the North"- This is the Kaiou Samma that we all know and love. He's the one who trained Son Gokou as well as Tenshinhan, Chaozu and Yamucha, (Piccolo is debateable since he kind of did his own thing). He was killed in the year 767 AD. when Gokou brought Cell to his planet so that he would detonate "safely". In the anime, the other Kaious made fun of his death and held the Annoyoichi Budoukai ("After-Life Martial Arts Tournament") in "honor" of his death.

  46. Higashi no Kaioushin "Kaioushin of the East"- First of all, a Kaioushin is a god beyond the rule and power of someone like the Kaiou of the North. This is the Kaioushin who we get to see in the manga. He's a short purple guy with elf ears and a white mohawk. He may not look it, but he's VERY strong, unfortunately, he's nothing compared to Gokou and the gang, (but he doesn't know that at first). As the series progresses, he fuses with his bodyguard Kibito, and while he receives a huge power upgrade from it, he's still weak compared to the Z Soldiers. He's normally just able to help out by teleporting people from place to place, and healing them after he fuses with Kibito. Kaioushin is also the only surviving deity of his kind from when Buu massacred the Kaioushins. The three other Kaioushins were killed, and Dai Kaioushin was absorbed by Buu.

  47. Gaikotsu Eihei "Skeleton Guard"- A decayed soldier that keeps a silent vigil at Uranai Baba's battle grounds.

  48. Kaizoku Robo "Pirate Robot"- A giant robot built by ancient pirates to guard their treasure. He's one nasty sucker too. He wiped out by Gokou and team in the manga fairly quickly, but it takes them more than an episode to deal with him in the anime. He has a limitless amount of ammo is a arm-mounted machine gun, as well as flame thrower.

  49. Kaichyuu Oyaku*- A family of worms that live in Buu's stomach. Vegita and Gokou encounter them during their journey through Buu in the anime.

  50. Kakao*- The android member of Taurus' team in DBZ Movie 3 "Ultimate Decisive Battle for Earth". Killed by Gokou.

  51. Kakujya*- One of Slug's scientists from DBZ Movie 4, "Super Saiya-jin Son Gokou".

  52. Gasuteru "Ghastel"*- A giant cloud-riding, ribbon attacking red demon from DB Movie 2 "The Dreaming Princess in Devil's Castle".

  53. Gashyu "Cashew"*- One of Garlic Junior's cronies when he returns in the anime. This dude is pretty tough and he's one of the last guys to die. Like Garlic Jr. he receives more power when the Makyo-sei nears Earth.

  54. Kappa Shogun "Copper Shogun"- This member of the Red Ribbon Army is mentioned, but never actually seen.

  55. Kanassa Sei-jin "Kanaasians"*- People of the planet Kanassa that have the power of telepathy caused by a mineral that grows on the planet. Bardock's team wipes out the people of this planet in the opening scenes of the first DBZ TV Special.

  56. Kanemochi Fuufu- A rich couple that pays to have their fortune told by Uranai Baba.

  57. Kami Samma "God"- Born in the year 250 AD. on the planet Nameck, he was the son of Katastu and sent to Earth for fear that the planet would be destroyed by violent storms. He grew up alone on Earth, and eventually, (this part is never explained), felt the ambition to be Kami. So he trained under the current Kami and in 431 AD. he ascended to the throne. He ruled until 767 AD. when he rejoined with Piccolo to grant him more power and knowledge.

  58. Kame Sennin/Muten Roshi "Turtle Elder AKA Master Roshi"- Born in the year 430 AD., Muten Roshi became the strongest man in the world after his sensei was killed by invoking the Mafuba technique on Piccolo Daimaou. He participated in many Tenkaichi Budoukai's and won every one he participated in, up to the 22nd Tenkaichi Budoukai. Then, in 749 AD., he met Son Gokou. In September of that year, he began training Gokou and Kuririn. After that the rest was history. He is later surpassed by all of the Z-Soldiers but never loses his fighting spirit. He is a pervert who owns the world's largest collection of porn magazines. He is 5' 4" tall and weighs 97 lbs. His home address is NBI8250012B.

  59. Karin- Karin is the 800 year old white cat who lives at the top of Karin Tower. He is a deity just below the rank of Kami. He plays a large role in Dragon Ball when he trains Gokou ,(although Gokou doesn't know it at the time). He also gives Gokou the Super God Water which gives him the power to defeat Piccolo Daimaou. In addition to that, Karin is the only one who grows the Senzu beans which heal wounds and are equivalent to eating 10 days worth of food. In DBZ he shows up from time to time, but not too often. Yajirobe ends up living with him in the tower. Karin's address is FFA44195SQ.

  60. Karugo "Kargo"- This is Dende's brother. He was killed by Freeza when he started to run away from the villain with his brother. He is later revived with the Earth's Dragon Balls.

  61. Kan Fu Otoko "Kung Fu Man"- A competitor in the 25th Tenkaichi Budoukai who looks and acts very much like a certain Chinese Martial Artist named Bruce.

  62. Kiira "Killer"- A big black dude who participates in the Battle Royale at the end of the 25th Tenkaichi Budoukai. He's KO'ed by Mighty Mask (Goten and Trunks). His role is minimal in the manga, but in the anime he has some plot-developing flashbacks.

  63. Kigurumi Z Senshi "Kigurumi Z Soldiers"*- In the anime, during the 25th Tenkaichi Budoukai, there is a HYSTERICAL scene where a short "movie" is shown which portrays the events of the Cell Game, Power Rangers style. The Z Soldiers, Cell and Mr. Satan are all represented by men in Super Deformed costumes, (The Kigurumi Z Senshi). The movie is a laugh riot because it's so Japanese, and it was done on purpose. There's guys flying around on high wires, and explosions are set off by stepping on switches. It's all done to make the flying and ki blasts that the Z Soldiers performed look fake. At the end the "hero" appears, the "mighty" Mr. Satan, and he defeats Cell with one swift kick.

  64. Kishiime*- The villain that looked like a cross between a catfish and an eel in DBZ Movie 2 "The World's Strongest Man". He can shock victims with his electric tentacles.

  65. Kita no Kaiushin "Kaioushin of the North"- While this character's existence is confirmed in the manga, he's not actually seen in it. He was only seen in the anime. He's one of the three Kaioushins that was killed by Buu.

  66. Ginyu- Leader of the Ginyu Tokusentai, Freeza's elite squad of five fantastic fighters. Ginyu possesses the strongest power of any of the Ginyu Tokusentai (120,000) but even more devastating than his power, is his ability to change bodies with a victim. Ginyu is the only member of the Ginyu Touksentai to live through the encounter on Nameck. His body is switched with a frog and in the manga, his story ends there. But in the anime, he switches bodies with Buruma and goes through some antics before getting switched back into the frog's body and he even shows up on Earth from time to time in his frog body.

  67. Kibito- This character is the large hulking guardian of Kaioushin. Almost nothing about his past is revealed, aside from the fact that his purpose is to protect Kaioushin from any harm. He has the ability to heal people near the brink of death and to teleport to anywhere he pleases. He later fuses forever with Kaioushin by way of the Potara earrings.

  68. Aoi Kimidori- This is Akane's older sister. She runs the Coffee Pot cafe in Penguin Village.

  69. Akane Kimidori- This is one of the main characters from Dr. Slump. She's one of Arale chan's best friends, and she's a bit of a tomboy. Her older sister is Aoi.

  70. Kiyatapi- This is one of the competitors in the Annoyoichi Budoukai that Gokou faces off against. He tries to tickle Gokou into submission, but that doesn't work, so he goes into a pupa state, (he's a caterpillar creature), to grow into a much more powerful adversary. The only problem is, he has to remain in his cocoon for 1,200 years, so the match is forfeited in favor of Gokou.

  71. Kyaputen Chikin "Captain Chicken"- One of the many goofy, (yet muscle-bound), competitors in the 28th Tenkaichi Budoukai. He's a man in a chicken suit.

  72. Kiui "Kiwi"- One of Freeza's top men who is the first to die by Vegita's hand on Nameck. He had a power level of 18,000.

  73. Gyuu Maou "Ox Demon King"- Despite his threatening sounding name, Gyuu Maou is really quite harmless and fun loving. He was slightly peeved when his castle became engulfed in flames on Mount Frypan and wreaked havoc through the village at the foot of the mountain, but hey, whaddya gonna do? He's Chichi's father and thus Gokou's father-in-law. He's very strong And trained along-side Gohan under Muten Roshi's tutillage. As the series he becomes less and less of an important character, and eventually just fades into being background filler. In the anime, he has a few large roles though from time to time.

  74. Gyosan Mane "Gyosan Money"*- A very rich individual who schedules the Martial Arts Tournament in DBZ Movie 9, "The Galaxy's in Danger!! The Super Awesome Guy!", as a birthday present for his son, Dollar.

  75. Gyoshyu*- A little alien scientist that works for Slug in DBZ Movie 4, "Super Saiya-jin Son Gokou". He's killed when he tells Slug it will take ten days to re-align the Earth's orbit. As you can guess, Slug is pretty impatient.

  76. Kyo Dai Kani "Ultimate Crab"*- A gigantic species of crab that lives in the deep waters of Nameck. Buruma encounters a female one in the anime.

  77. Kirano- A handsome male competitor in the 28th Tenkaichi Budoukai. He faces off against Captain Chicken.

  78. Giran- A huge Pteradon monster who competes against Gokou in the 21st Tenkaichi Budoukai and forfeits the match. He's very powerful, and has many techniques, but Gokou counters all of them eventually. In the anime, his character is built up a lot more with a bar-fight scene. (Some drunks make fun of him for ordering milk so he beats the hell out of them). He was born in the year 717 AD. He stands 6' 4" tall and weighs 466 lbs. His home address is XBC44735BB.

  79. Giran Ichizoku "Giran's Townspeople"*.- In the anime, Gokou visits Giran's village and meets a bunch of Pteradon creatures like him.

  80. Kinkaku*- A thug who Gokou meets when he makes his trip around the world. He and his brother Ginkaku terrorize the people of a small mountain village and force them to present them with food once a month. Kinkaku wields a man-eating gourd that sucks people in if they do not respond when their name is called. Once inside the gourd, the victim is disolved and becomes sake.

  81. Ginkaku*- Ginkaku is Kinkaku's smaller brother. He and his brother are beaten by Gokou and forced to work for the people of the village.

    79. Kingu Kyasuru Eihei "The King's Castle Guard"- A huge guard who tries to stop Piccolo Daimaou from getting to the King, but Daimaou kills him by putting his fist through the guard's chest.

  82. Kuura "Koola"*- Koola is Freeza's brother. He is the villain in DBZ Movies 5 and 6. Movie 5 actually takes place in the anime time-line, however, 6 doesn't. Koola has the unique ability to transform to increase his power beyond that of his brother's and thus transform into a fifth form. He's pretty cool as a villain, and shares Freeza's polite mannerisms. In the first few minutes of the movie, it's very clear that he doesn't care about his brother very much, and just stays out of his way because he doesn't want to bother with him. (A mistake that eventually ends up costing him his life). In Movie 5, Gokou blasts him and his Death Ball through the sun with a Kame Hame Ha.

  83. Daigorou Kurigashisa- One of the inhabitants of Penguin Village who pops up during the cross-over series. I don't know much about Dr. Slump so I don't have any background information on him.

  84. Kuririn- Everyone's favorite monk! Kuririn is a member of the Orinji Temple, a sect of monks. The six dots on his head are scars which are burned into the forehead of each member. Contrary to popular belief he is NOT bald. He shaves his head so that an opponent cannot grab his hair in a fight. During the seven years after the Cell Game, he lets his hair grow back. His wife is the vexing Number 18 and their daughter's name is Maron. He was born in the year 736 AD. and is one year older than his best friend Son Gokou.

  85. Gurudo- The smallest and least powerful member of the Ginyu Tokusentai. Gurudo is a squat green alien with four eyes. While he may be weak, he posseses some fantastic abilities. He can freeze time for as long as he can hold his breath, and his ultimate move is his ability to telepathically freeze his opponents in place. He is decapitated by Vegita.

  86. Gurumesu Ou "King Gurumesu"*- The unwilling villain from Dragon Ball Movie 1, "The Legend of Shenron". He is a normal person who became corrupt when he discovered special rubies that made him have a ceasless hunger.

  87. Gureto Saiyaman "Great Saiyaman"- Gohan's "alter-ego" during his high-school life. He dons a helmet, a green suit and white mantle, and special watch invented by Buruma which helps him change his outfit from normal to super-hero. Later on, he replaces the helmet with a bandana and sun-glasses so that he can legally participate in the Tenkaichi Budoukai, (wearing and type of armor is a no-no). In the manga he performs a couple good deeds, but in the anime he's elevated to Super Man status and does all sorts of wonderful things for Satan City. A movie is even made about him. Aside from being a hero, he's also famous for his "cool" poses which is a direct blow to Sailor Moon. He makes a series of ridiculous movements while spouting off phrases like, "Wherever evil lurks and destroys the hopes of good people, the Great Saiyaman will be there for protection!".

  88. Gureto Saiyaman 2 Gou "Great Saiyaman Number 2"*- In the anime and DBZ Movie 13, "Dragon Fist Assault!! If Gokou Can't do it, Who Can??", Videl teams up with Gohan on his crusade of justice. She wears an outfit similar to his, but it's definately got a woman's touch. She's barely in the anime at all, so it's a wonder that she plays a pretty large role in Movie 13 as her "alter-ego".

  89. Guregori "Gregory"*- This is Kaiou's motor-mouth pupil, a little flying cricket named Gregory. He only shows up in the anime and in a couple movies. He's very respectful of his master and always speaks highly of him, but he'll talk trash to anyone he doesn't believe is better than him.

  90. KTV Jyosei Intabyua "KTV's Female Interviewer"- A reporter for station KTV.

  91. Genki Dama ni Kyouryoku Shytotsuru Otoko "First normal man to give his power to the Genki Dama"- What a mouthful. While Gokou is gathering energy for his Ultimate Genki Dama, Vegita pleads with the people of Earth to give their raise their hands and offer thier energy. VERY few people do it because they think it's another mind trick of Buu's, but one man in an artic environment gives up his energy. He's the first person outside of the small group of people who actually knew it was Vegita's voice that gave his energy to Gokou.

  92. Kenpau Ka- A street fighter who offers people 100,000 zeni if they can beat him. He fights "a little kid" named Gokou and loses pathetically. Gokou uses the money he wins to locate Buruma's house.

  93. Piroshiki*- One of Mr. Satan's students who "competes" against Cell in the anime. He's a large guy with the power of a wild boar, but he obviously doesn't hold a candle to Cell.

  94. Kouryu*- A ten year old competitor in the 25th Tenkaichi Budoukai's Children's Division.

  95. Goremu*- I have no clue who this is, but they only appear in the anime, and they're probablly a character in Dragon Ball, which I haven't seen all of yet.

  96. Ko Gamera "Kid Gamera"- If you fall into one of two categories, then you'll get this joke. Either A. A MST3K freak or B. A Japanese monster movie freak. Gamera is a giant turtle from outerspace with two rockets coming out of his butt that he uses to fly around with. Think Godzilla with a shell. Obviously, Akira Toriyama is a bit of a fan. Since Muten Roshi doesn't fly, lost the Kintoun to Gokou, (which he couldn't ride anyway) and sometimes needs to get places fast, he calls in Kid Gamera. It's a little mini version of Gamera that Muten Roshi can fly around on. Now, the thing about Gamera is that when he flies, he spins around in circles, so does kid Gamera. So when Muten Roshi utilizes this mode of transportation, whenever he gets off, he immeditaly vomits. Obviously, it's not a very popular way of getting around.

  97. Gokuya- The machine gun/sword wielding villain from Movie 9, who is taken out by his own boss Bojack.

  98. Koku Ou "King of the World"- The little dog/man ruler of the world. He pops up from time to time during times of crisis. He played a fairly large role in Dragon Ball when Daimaou lead an assault on his castle and claimed it as his own. He's one of the few people who knows that Gokou is actually a hero.

  99. Koko*- A little girl who lives in a mountain vilage she was going to offer herself as a human sacrafice to stop a monster from terrorizing her village, but Videl wouldn't let her and put a stop to the monster herself....with a "little" help from Goten and Trunks.

  100. Gojita*- The washboard stomached result of Fusion by Gokou and Vegita. Gojita only appears in DBZ Movie 12, "Rebirth of Fusion! Gokou and Vegita!!", and in Dragon Ball GT. Gojita is fantastically powerful and takes out Janenba effortlessly in Movie 12, and would probablly have done the same thing to Ii Shenron if he weren't so cocky, (a side-effect of Fusion).

  101. Gozu*- The big blue ogre in Hell who sumo-wrestles with Gokou.

  102. Kon Doru no Shyonen "Dirty Boy"*- A dirty little thief (figuratively and literally) who steals Gokou's clothes and his Dragon Radar while he bathes. Gokou finds him by his scent.

  103. Gotenks- The mini-washboard stomached result of Fusion between Trunks and Goten. Gotenks looks small, but he's a powerhouse. He battles against Majin Buu on two seperate occasions. The first time is when he first successfully becomes Gotenks, (Goten and Trunks previous attempts were VERY unsuccessful), and he loses pitifully. In the manga the fight isn't shown, but it is in the anime. The second occasion is the famous battle in The Room of Spirit and Time between him and Super Buu. The battle later expands to Kami's Palace, (which gets completely destroyed), and even further along, down it concludes on Earth. During the fight, Toriyama returns to his gag style of animation and writing. This is evident through the attacks which he makes up for Gotenks, such as Miracle Super Punch, Great Kick Special and Galactica Donut. While many of his attacks are just a waste of time, he's the only other Saiya-jin besides Gokou who attains Super Saiya-jin 3, which is a valuable assest in his battle against Buu. Unfortunately, he toys with Buu because of the cockiness that results from Fusion, and defuses before he can destroy Buu.

  104. Kori Hakase "Dr. Kori"*- A scientist from DBZ Movie 11 who assists in the craetion of Bio Brolly.

  105. Korudo Ou "King Kold"- Freeza's "Papa" who accompanies him on his trip to Earth to seek revenge on Son Gokou. It's a wonder that Freeza is so tiny, because this sucker is huge. Think, that devil guy from the movie Legend, but without all the red makeup. He's stronger than his son, but as Trunks proves, the bigger they are...... He's killed when Trunks makes a breathing hole through his chest and then annihilates him with a point blank ki attack.

  106. Konkichi*- A little fox kid who Gokou meets on the final stretch of his trip around the world. He's a thief, but he only steals to survive. He treats Gokou like a king since he saved his life.

  107. Zaakuro*- One of the two aliens who disguise themselves as Nameckians and try to trap Buruma, Kuririn and Gohan on their desolate world. They almost succeed and steal their space ship, but Kuririn and Gohan put an end to their treachery.

  108. Saade*- One of the competitors in the Annoyoichi Budoukai. He was born in the year 3500 BC.

  109. Zaabon "Zarbon"- Freeza's right hand man and all around crony. Not much information is given on this character, but he does have the ability to transform in order to increase his power level. However, in his transformed state, he's a disgusting creature, as opposed to his handsome features in his normal state. He hates transforming because he doesn't like his beautiful figure to become distorted, (he's a pretty boy), but he does it none the less to take on Vegita. His normal power level is 23,000.

  110. Saiku Oni*- The lazy punk-rock ogre from DBZ Movie 12. He's known as the Tank Boy whose job it is to change the tanks on the washing machine that evil people's souls go through when they go to Hell in the afterlife. But, he forgets about his job and the evil energy in the tank overflows and explodes. The evil energy swarms around the ogre and goes into him, changing him into the evil demon Janenba. Don't you just hate it when that happens?

  111. Saichourou "Ultimate Elder"- The elder of Namecks. The Saichourou is a Nameckian who has an almost infinite wisdom and some fantastic techniques. He can read minds, asexually reproduce, awaken hidden powers and even create Dragon Balls. Saichourou created the Nameckian Dragon Balls and modeled the Nameck dragon, Porunga, after an image he saw in a dream. He dies due to Freeza's influence, but is later ressurected for a short amount of time so that the Nameck Dragon Balls can become active again and grant one last wish. He dies permamnently on Earth. Just before he dies, he chooses Muuri to be his successor as Saichourou.

  112. Saibai Men- These are little foot soldiers that Saiya-jin can utilize whenever they don't want to get thier hands dirty. The creatures are actually grown in soil. First a seed is planted, then a special solution is poured on top of each seed, and voila! Instant chaos! The creatures are brutal and random, but they always obey their master. Each is fairly strong with a power level of 1,200, but their best technique is a kamikaze explosion tactic. An example of this can be seen when Yamucha is killed.

  113. Suaza*- The leader of Koola's special forces team in DBZ Movie 5 "Battle of the Strongest". He's killed by Piccolo in the end of the movie by everyone's favorite attack, Makkankosappou.

  114. Kinoni Sarada- One of the wacky inhabitants of Penguin Village. Kinoni is little kid that rides around on a tricycle.

  115. Zangya*- Bojack's vexing female underling. She's quite a powerful fighter and ironically takes on Kuririn, (who under estimates her). Near the end of the movie she's killed by Bojack himself because she shows signs of fear.

  116. Sanshyo*- Garlic Junior's enormous musclebound crony from DBZ Movie 1, "Return My Gohan!". He's killed by Piccolo who takes revenge on him for attacking him in the wlderness.

  117. Sanzoku Guma "Bear Thief"- Gokou's first "major" battle with an enemy takes place with this dude. He's a humongous sword-wielding bear with a taste for sea turtle. He threatens to eat Umigame, but Gokou defends the tortoise and takes out the bear with his Jan Ken move.

  118. CQV no Repota "CQV Reporter"- A reporter for station CQV who covers the crisis in Ginger Town where people are mysteriously dissapearing.

  119. Jiisu- A member of the Ginyu Tokusentai, Jiisu's speciality is his combination of speed and powerful techniques. He's not as fast as Baata, or as powerful as Reekuumu, but he's a happy medium between the two of them. He's killed by Vegita.

  120. Shen- The alias that Kami enters the Tenkaichi Budoukai under. He posseses the body of a typical nerdy looking guy to disguise himself so he can defeat Piccolo. His name is a bit of a pun. It's the first part of the dragon's name, Shenron.

  121. Shen no Mutsuko "Shen's son"- Just as the name infers, this is the son of the guy who Kami posseses.

  122. Shenron- Created in the year 470, Shenron is the dragon god who appears when all seven Dragon Balls are gathered in one place and a person utters, "Come out Shenron!". At first, Shenron can only grant one wish, and bring someone back to life once, but later, he recieves a power-up from Dende which allows him to grant three wishes at one time and grant the same wish twice. However, after all three wishes are made, the Dragon Balls will scatter across the Earth and turn to stone. In one year's time, they will return to normal and can be used again. If not all three wishes are not used up at one time, the waiting period is shortened. Shenron is linked to his creator Kami, thus if Kami dies, the Dragon Balls become useless. Later when Kami merges with Piccolo, the Dragon Balls turn to stone, but Dende replaces Kami and becomes the new God, at which point he powers-up the Dragon Balls and restores them. Shenron was killed once in the series by Piccolo Daimaou. The dying process does not work in reverse, in other words, if Shenron dies, Kami does not. After Shenron's death he can be reborn by a simple procedure. In Kami's Palace is a mini statue of the Dragon. If the dragon is dead, the staue will be broken into pieces. In order to ressurect him, you must simply put the statue back together again. Shenron cannot grant wishes that exceeds laws of nature, or the power of his creator. (Power meaning fighting strength). Shenron cannot ressurect someone who has been dead for more than one year, (which makes the Time-Line is DBZ Daizenshyu 7 a bit of a plot hole since Gokou was listed as being ressurected more than a year after his death). And he cannot ressurect someone that has died of natural causes. Whew! That's a bit complex. Hope you got it all.

  123. Super Shenron AKA Porunga- This is the Nameckian equivalent of Shenron. He is much larger than Shenron, (5 times larger to be exact), and when he's first intoduced, he has some advantages over the Earth's Shenron. For starters he can grant three wishes instead of one. The downside is, that he only ressurect one person per wish, so he could could wish back three people total at one time, as opposed to Earth's Shenron which can bring back any number of people. However, after Muuri becomes Saichourou, he upgrades Porunga and allows him to bring back any number of people per wish. Porunga can also grant the same wish more than once. The last advantage he has is that his waiting period after the balls turn to stone is only 130 days as opposed to Earth's one year. As with Earth's Shenron, he's linked to his creator in the same ways. Confidentially, I think Porunga is the cooler looking of the two dragons, but to each his own. His shape was based on a figure the Saichourou saw in a dream.

  124. Shishi Garyu no Ken Pau Ka- A competitor in the 21st Tenkaichi Budoukai who uses Ken Pau as his form of fighting.

  125. "Shitate A" Tailor A- An unfortunate tailor who makes the mistake of asking Tao Pai Pai to pay for the clothes he fitted him with. Tao Pai Pai swiftly kills him for not recognzing him as a world renowned assassin.

  126. "Shitate B" Tailor B- A tailor who fits Gokou with some dress clothes after his old gi was a wreck because he had been wearing it since he competed in the 21st Tenkaichi Budoukai. But Gokou doesn't like the clothes, so he strips naked in the middle of a street and changes into a new orange gi.

  127. Shyaoron*- Tenron's little brother, (little only in name), who accuses Chinshyou of stealing his wallet, just so that he can pick a fight with the boy's father, Chindai.

  128. Jyaga Bandadanshyakku*- A "villain" from DBZ Movie 11 who wants revenge on his old class-mate Mr. Satan for beating him in martial arts when he was a kid. He funds experiments that create Bio Warriors, including Bio Brolly.

  129. Jackie Chun- Kame Sennin's alter-ego during the 21st and 22nd Tenkaichi Budoukai's. He removes his sunglasses, glues some hair to his head, and puts on a black fighting garb, similar to the one Jet Li wore in Lethal Weapon 4. He hides that fact that he's really Kame Sennin because he wants his students, (Gokou and Kuririn), to compete against him full force without holding any reservations or emotions.

  130. Janenba*- Without a doubt Janenba is the second coolest villain in all of the Dragon Ball Z movies. Janenba was basically a demon crime lord in Hell, before he was banished. However, when the Evil Soul Washing Machine overflows and explodes, spewing out pure evil, he's reborn in the body of a young ogre. While Janenba may be evil, he certainly doesn't look it. He looks like the Stay-Puft Mashmallow Man, (minus the hat and scarf), who went to an all-you-can-eat smorgasbord, (and then grew horns, a tail and turned yellow). He has basically no brain and loves to "play" Play meaning maming, killing, suffocating, tormenting and of course the whole, destroy-the-universe bit. As a movie villain, he probablly holds the record for the widest variety of moves. He has a LOT of them. And then, just when you think Gokou finally kills him, he turns into a new type a villain. He's still Janenba, but you'd never know it by looking at him. He resembles the devil, and has a serious attitude. While original Janenba just liked wreaking havoc as a plaything, this guy takes deep pleasure in it, which is evident by his menacing facial expressions. His death is also one of the coolest as well. Gojita takes him out with a small attack of condensed energy that disolves him from the inside out. Very cool.

  131. Shyapuna "Sharpener"- Your typical High-School jock. He participates in almost all sports and in college he would probably be a likely candidate to major in Phys. Ed. in college. He torments Gohan for a bit in school, (which Gohan doesn't even recognzie as such), but later befriends Gohan when he sees that Gohan is capable of catching baseballs 20 feet in the air and taking a fast-ball directly to the face without flinching, (these scenes in the anime are absolute side-splitters!). In the anime he embarks on a quest to reveal the identity of the Great Saiyaman during the 25th Tenkaichi Budoukai, which Gohan reveals anyway.

  132. Shyamo*- An adorable little alien from DBZ Movie 8, enslaved by Paragus and his men to complete the construction of a new planet Vegita. Gohan be friends him. He's named after his planet.

  133. Shyamo Seijin "People of Shyamo"*- The race of people who lived on the planet Shyamo, all of them were enslaved and their planet was destroyed before their eyes by Brolly.

  134. Shyuu- Emperor Pilaf's ninja cronie. He and Mai usually work together to carry out the work of their vertically challenged and short tempered Emperor. He's one of the first villains in the Dragon Ball series, but perhaps villain is too strong a word. He's almost comic relief.

  135. Shyuusai Aku "Evil Tutor"*- Chichi gets a tutor for Gohan to help him with his studies, but the guy turns out to be a real SOB. He whips Gohan when he doesn't do his work right and constantly corrects him. Chichi doesn't realize that any of this is going on, but one day she hears him badmouth Gokou and she FLIPS out. She puts him, through the window and chases him away.

  136. Jyueru "Jewel"- A pretty-boy competitor in the 25th Tenkaichi Budoukai who makes it to the final Battle Royale. He's knocked out instantly by Number 18.

  137. Shura*- A god of demons who dwells in the underworld. His legion of demons terrorize a kingdom, but Gokou beats the demon god in a fighting tournament and ceases his attacks on the village.

  138. Jyosei Kyasuta "Women Newscaster"- A woman who reports on the terror that Cell is causing across the Earth by absorbing entire towns-worth of people.

  139. Shiruba Taisa "Silver Taisa"- The first member of the Red Ribbon Army that Gokou encounters and battles. By normal means he's a good fighter, but Gokou takes him out in no time. He isn't killed by Gokou though, only KO'ed.

  140. Jinku*- One of the orphans Gohan meets when he escapes from Piccolo's training in the wilderness. He looks like a fox.

  141. Jinguru ora no Sonchyou "The Mayor of Jingle Village"- The mayor of Jingle Village who was kidnapped by the Red Ribbon Army and held for ransom in Muscle Tower to make the townspeople work for them.

  142. Jinjya "Ginger"*- Piccolo's cutesy, (but road rage prone), driving instructor in the infamous driving school episode.

  143. Jinjyaa "Ginger"*- Garlic Junior's right hand man and leader of the Ginger Three in DBZ Movie 1, "Return My Gohan!". He's killed by Gokou's Kame Hame Ha.

  144. Jinjya Taun Ichi Erai Kanemochi "Ginger Town's Prominent Rich Man"- A victim of Cell's absorbtion spree. He offers Piccolo tons of cash to save his life seconds before Cell messily drains him of life.

  145. Jinzouningen Hachi Gou "Artificial Human Number 8" AKA Hachan- Dr. Gero's first "successful" creation, (although there was a BIG plot hole in the anime that said Dr. Frappe invented him, but I won't touch on that here). While Number 8 was magnificently powerful, he was built too well and possesed the ability to think for himself, and he decided that he didn't want to do evil things for the Red Ribbon Army. He befriends Gokou and helps him on his trip up Muscle Tower. Hachan was much stronger than Gokou at that particular time, but he was a pacifist, and didn't like to fight. He had a bomb inside his body which could be activated with an Emergency Stop Controller. Murasaki was going to kill Hachan by activating the bomb since he was defective, but Gokou saved him by destroying the controller. Hachan can also be seen near the end of DBZ and also in the Dragon Ball 10th Anniversary Special.

  146. Jinzouningen Juusan Gou "Artificial Human Number 13"*- The tall hickish leader of the Androids and main villain in DBZ Movie 7, "The Three Super Saiya-jin", whom I nick-named "Farmer John". He looks like he should be plowing fields, not mowing down Gokou and Co. He's basically a rip-off of Cell. By himself he's fairly powerful, but when he absorbs two components from Artificial Humans 14 and 15, he turns into a BIG SOB who I must admit is really quite cool. Everyone works together to take him down. And Gokou finishes him with a Genki Dama....well, sorta. He creates a Genki Dama, and then instead of using it as a weapon, he absorbs the energy, and well, his ki gets about as big as the Empire State Building.

  147. Jinzouningen Juuyon Gou "Artificial Human Number 14"*- A big blue sucker who looks like he came from a Conan the Barbarian movie. He's the "strongman" of the three Androids in DBZ Movie 7 and eventually faces off one on one against Trunks. His death is fantastic, but not the best of the three.

  148. Jinzouningen Juugo Gou "Artificial Human Number 15"*- My personal favorite of the three villains in DBZ Movie 7. He's an alcoholic who takes a swig from his whiskey can every few minutes and dresses similar to Boy George. He's also very tiny and several jokes about his height come up during the movie, (like his entire body falling straight down into three feet of snow). He's killed by Vegita and in my opinion has the funniest death.

  149. Jinzouningen Juuroku Gou "Artificial Human Number 16"- Number 16 is another "failure" of Dr. Gero's. However, he's only a failure in that he's a pacifist, but not to the degree that Number 8 was. Number 16 is willing to carry out his mission to kill Gokou, but beyond that, he doesn't wish to harm anybody or anything. He loves nature, and this is more than clear throughout the anime, (birds constantly flock to him). Anyway, back on topic, aside from that fact, Number 16 is probablly Gero's greatest success. Unlike Numbers 17 and 18, he is entirely mechanical, and unlike Number 19, he is not an Energy Absorption Type. He has an infinite power supply like Numbers 17 and 18. In addition to that, he is surprisingly also the strongest of the Artificial Humans. He is able to lock arms with a full power First Stage Cell and hold his own surprisingly well, when even Piccolo was nearly killed by him. Number 16 is also the only Artificial Human capable of sensing ki energy and locations of its output. Like Numbers 8, 17 and 18 Number 16 has a self-destruct bomb inside of him. The only difference is that his bomb causes a massive explosion with enough power to wipe out even Perfect Cell. He tries to utilize his bomb as a kamikaze technique against Cell when all seems lost, however, when Buruma and her father repaired Number 16 in their lab a few days before the Cell Game, they removed the bomb. Unfortunately they forgot to inform 16 and when he realizes it's no longer inside of him, Cell blasts a hole through him the size of Kansas. Later, 16's decapitated head gives Gohan a little speech about releasing his true feelings. Cell is annoyed by the interference and crushes 16's head completely destroying him. Big mistake.

  150. Jinzouningen Juunana Gou "Artificial Human Number 17"- The brother and sister team, (Androids 17 and 18), are a bit hard to explain, so please stick with me on this one. Doctor Gero obtained a brother and a sister. His means of obtaining them and their past lives are never revealed. He experimented on them, and basically re-created several aspects of them. They refer to themselves as, "Humans with a few extras". He obviously also took away many of their past memories since they never refer to themselves by their former names, nor do they show any care for what they used to be. This brother and sister obviously became what we know as Androids 17 and 18. 17 is the brother. He's a typical male with a love for fast cars, and all sorts of adrenaline rushes. He loves his ultimate power and refers to himself as the strongest being ever. Unfortunately for him, that's not true when full power Stage One Cell shows up. Contrary to popular belief the Androids of the present are VERY diiferent from the Androids in Trunks' time. In Trunks' future 17 drives around in an air car and mows people down for fun. In the present he may rough up people, but he never kills a single human. The only person he intends to kill is Son Gokou and after that he just wants to enjoy himself by fighting strong opponents. Both 17 and 18's deadliest trait is that they do not have ki, and thus cannot be sensed, and they also have an infinite supply of energy inside of them. In other words, even if they're lying near death on the ground, if they have enough strength left to lift their arms, they can still shoot out blasts of energy. Number 17 also has a bomb inside his body which can be triggered by an Emergency Stop Controller, but the explosion is not as powerful as Number 16's is. After the Cell saga Number 17 becomes a recluse and lives in the woods by himself. The only time he's seen again is when he gives his energy to Gokou to help create the Ultimate Genki Dama.

  151. Jinzouningen Juuhachi Gou "Artificial Human Number 18"- Number 18 plays a larger role than her brother, mainly because she becomes romantically entwined with a main character, Kuririn, and eventually marries him. When she was a "villain" she was different from her brother in that she doesn't enjoy fighting per-say, but she has a "just for the hell of it" kind of attitude. Whenever she's seen fighting she's always very laid back and calm, and meanwhile she's doling out heavy punishment, (she dis-locates Vegita's arm). Aso like her brother, she never kills a single human and has only one goal which is to kill Gokou. She also retains some of her human quirks. Whereas her brother likes adrenaline rushes she loves shopping for clothes. In one part, all three Androids take a pit-stop at a clothing store and Number 18 tries on all sorts of clothing and steals a dress that she takes a particular liking to. In the anime she also browses through Chichi's clothing looking for any good out-fits, but she's bored with what she finds. She has all of the same traits as her brother ex. ifinite energy, no ki and of course a bomb inside of her which is later removed from her and her brother's body by Shenron. Anyway, after the Cell saga she settles down with Kuririn and they have a daughter named Maron, (like I said before, although some parts of them are mechnical, they're mostly human). She competes in the 25th Tenkaichi Budoukai and bribes Mr. Satan to give her 20,000,000 Zeni (Zeni is DBZ's unit of money), if she lets him win the tournament, which he agrees to, regretably.

  152. Jinzouningen Juukyu Gou "Artificial Human Number 19"- Number 19 is completely mechanical and is an Energy Absorption Type. He had red balls on the palms of his hands which can absorb any ki attack, and suck the energy right out of a person by touching them. He's pretty um....boring as a villain. Once again, think of the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man, but this time, shrink him to human size, and cross-breed him with a Chinese Frosty the Snow Woman and he's what you'd end up with. Gokou starts to fight him, but gets beaten horribly because he starts to suffer from his heart disease, so he gets carried off the field by Yamucha, and guess who shows up to take his place? Mr. Fancypants Vegita. The fight between him and Vegita is fairly short, but it's one of the few moments where I actually love Vegita's attitude. "You're an Android right? Tell me, can Androids feel pain and fear?". Vegita rips off 19's hands so he can't absorb energy and then blows him up with Big Bang Attack. Serves him right. But fighting wasn't 19's main purpose. He was created by Dr. Gero so that he could transplant the doctor's brain into an Android body so that he could continue his research. That Android's name was.....

  153. Jinzouningen Nijuu Gou "Artificial Human Number 20"- You'll notice later on that Dr. Gero isn't on this list. There's a reason behind that. In the manga, the real Dr. Gero is never actually seen, and in the anime, we only see him in brief flashbacks. The real Dr. Gero was a scientist for the Red Ribbon Army and was its only known surviving member after Gokou eliminated it. He invented 20 Android bodies in his life-time and began work on one ultimate biological warrior known as Cell. Most of his Androids were failures and were never shown. He invented the Androids primarily to kill Gokou, but Trunks infers that his larger scheme is something much larger than world domination. Keep in mind, in Trunks' future, Androids 19 and 20 did not exist, and Number 16 was either destroyed by Gero or never completed. Before creating Number 20, he created Number 19 (DUH) to transplant Dr. Gero's brain into Android 20, which was built to look exactly like Gero's human body. After his brain had been moved into Number 20, Gero was able to continue his research and live on without fearing death due to old age. Number 20 is a particularly vicious villain. In the manga he squeezes off a human's head like a blemish. He's not much of a match for the likes of Piccolo, Gokou or Vegita even after absorbing energy. His only advantage is that he is an Energy Absorption Type Android who can absorb any ki attacks with a red ball in the palms of his hands, but Piccolo rectifies that problem simply by slicing of Number 2's right hand. Number 20 is killed by his own creation Androids 17. Number 17 slams his fist through 20's chest, kicks off his head, and then smashes his head under-foot.

  154. Shinbaru "Cymbal"- Piccolo Daimaou's third son. Cymbal resembles....well actually I don't know, but he looks sort of like a Dragon with a plump human-esque body. He's killed by Yajirobe who slices him in half, then roasts him over a fire and eats him. Cymbal is 5' 9" tall and weighs 255 and a half lbs. He was born and killed in the year 753.

  155. Suke san "Mr. Invisible"- An invisible man who Yamucha faces off against. He's one of Uranai Baba's fighters whom she lets people battle. If the people beat all of her monsters, then they can have their fortune told for free. Mr. Invisble is defeated by hysterical but ridiculous means. Gokou nabs Buruma and Muten Roshi, then he has Kuririn swipe off Buruma's top, thus exposing what she was graciously endowed with. Seeing this, Muten Roshi suffers from his biggest nose bleed ever and covers the invisble man in blood making him possible to see and thus tangible.

  156. Supa Man "Super Man"- One of the inhabitants of Penguin Village and ironically, one of the few characters I actually know something about. I could go on for paragraphs on this character's side-splitting antics, but since he's mainly a Dr. Slump character, I'll just stick to his role in Dragon Ball and since I like him so much, I'll summarize the whole scene. He's a short pudgy Clark Kent look-alike who changes into his alter-ego "Supa Man" by running into a telephone and putting on classic Super Man garb. If you understand Japanese his outfit is even funnier because he has the kana "Tsu" on his chest in place of the "S". He's actually just a typical avergae Joe, who's no different from you or me, but he claims to have super power which he gains by eating pickled plums, (yum yum). He meets up with Blue Shogun who orders him to get out of his car and let him commandeer it. He refuses and runs into a nearby telephone booth and changes into "Supa Man". He declares that he will not give up his car to any source of evil. Blue Shogun calmly walks over to the telephone booth, picks it up, and crushes it. After that "Supa Man" gladly gives his car over to Blue and gives him directions to the nearest airport. As Blue drives away, "Supa Man" stand triumphant and declares that he has made the particular place of ground that he's standing on a safer place.

  157. Suno "Snow"- A little 9 year old girl that lives in Jingle Village. She rescues Gokou from the freezing weather which he isn't accustomed to when his plane crashes in the cold northern region.

  158. Suno no chichi "Snow's Daddy"- Snow's father who is forced to work for the Red Ribbon Army and search for a Dragon Ball.

  159. Suno no haha "Snow's Mommy"- Snow's mother who takes care of Gokou and provides him with appropriate snow gear for his assault on Muscle Tower.

  160. Supopo Bitchi- One of Babidi's servants. He was a normal martial artist who did quite well in the 24th Tenkaichi Budoukai, but Babidi got his hands on him and possesed him to do his bidding. During the 25th Tenkaichi Budoukai, he seriously beats the living hell out of Videl and almost kills her. (I'm not kidding. This scene in the manga and anime is extremely brutal. In one part he bashes her face with his knee and knocks out some of her teeth.). But Videl doesn't give up and only loses because she's so badly beaten that she can't move and Supopo throws her out of the ring. Later he works with his cohort Yamu to steal Gohan's energy and meets his grisly demise when he outlives his usefullness and Babidi causes him to explode.

  161. Suragu "Slug"*- Ah yes, the incredibly lame villain from the even lamer DBZ Movie 4, "Super Saiya-jin Son Gokou". I really hated this movie but that's besides the point. Slug is a mutant Nameckian who doesn't even know that he was originally from the planet Nameck. He's the Emperor of a frozen, sun-less mobile planet. Unforunately at the beginning of the movie, Slug's planet nearly collides with Earth, and to save the Earth, they destroy their planet. The price for such a "noble" cause isn't all that easy to swallow though. Slug wants to make Earth his new planet. Near the middle of the movie, his men manage to collect all 7 Dragon Balls and Slug makes a wish to gain his youth back, (he's pretty old). With that accomplished, he continues his conquest of Earth, unfortunately he picked a planet with Piccolo and Gokou on it. In the end of the movie he's finally killed by the Genki Dama.

  162. Seiretsu Shiji Obake "Ghost Usher"- Uranai Baba's little servant ghost who directs people from place to place at Uranai Baba's home.

  163. Zeeun*- One of Slug's subordinates in DBZ Movie 4, "Super Saiya-jin Son Gokou", whom Slug kills for mistakenly calling him old.

  164. Zeshin*- One of the leaders of the of the group of orphans whose space-ship Kuririn, Buruma and Gohan mistakenly board on their trip to Nameck.

  165. ZTV no Jikyou Anaunsa "ZTV's Male Announcer"- Throught DB/Z there are lots of TV reporters. This particular guy plays the largest reporter role in the series. He's the brave soul who covers the Cell Game with the help of his trusty camera-man. Throughout the Cell Game he provides almost a comic relief at times, and at other times, he hightens the intesity with his description of the amazing events he witnesses. He's the World's only link to the Cell Game since no other TV stations covered the event. (Uranai Baba helps out Chichi in the anime, but her magical ball eventually phases out due to the large concentrations of energy).

  166. Seripa*- One of the only female Saiya-jin who was a member of Bardock's team in the first DBZ TV Special. Not much is known about her, however, she's known Bardock since she was a child, and is a good friend of his. She's killed by Dodoria and his crew of fighters.

  167. Cell- Cell is one of the "major" villains of DBZ. Others being Vegita, Nappa, Freeza and Buu. All other villains are indeed vile etc. but DBZ is generally divided into sagas named after the largest villain of the period. Cell is no exception. If you were to describe his personality, he has the manners of Freeza and the temper of Vegita, (which makes sense since those are two people he's made up of). The general concept of Cell was brought forth by Dr. Gero, however, Dr. Gero's computer is what really "makes" him. Dr. Gero combined blood samples of Piccolo, Gokou, Vegita, Freeza and King Kold, (which were collected by a robot drone disguised as a bee), and created a small life form which would one day become become Cell. Unfortunately, the amount of work needed to input data into the being and make it intelligent takes a ridiculously long amount of time, so Gero sealed the larva Cell in his secret lab and let his computer tinker away at creating the creature for 24 years. After 24 years, voila! Instant killing machine! However, when Cell emerges as an intelligent being, he's far from being what Dr. Gero dreamed that he would one day become. He basically resembles a walking cockroach. In order to reach perfection, Dr. Gero created two components for Cell to absorb, and once he absorbed the components, he would then become "Perfect" and have no equal in strength. Those two components were of course, Androids 17 and 18. Now here's the tricky part. The Cell that you all know is NOT from the normal time-line. He comes from a third time-line, and was born in the year 762. In this time-line, Trunks had defeated Androids 17 and 18, unfortunately for Cell, that meant he could not absorb them and become "Perfect". In the year 786, he emerges from Dr. Gero's lab in his first form and begins to absorb the people of Earth to gain power. In the same year, ( after absorbing enough people to increase his power beyond Trunks' ), he siezes his chance to accomplish his dream. He sneaks up on Trunks, just as he's about to make a departure in his Time Machine to help Gokou and the rest with their fight against the Androids, however, he doesn't get very far. Before he leaves, Cell kills Trunks and steals his Time Machine. In order to fit in the Time Machine, he reverts to an egg state and launches the Time Machine. He ends up in the normal time-line sometime in the year 764. After his arrival, he hatches from his egg and at this point resembles a giant cicada. He crawls several yards away from the Time Machine and burrows down into the Earth to enter his pupa state which he needs to stay in for three years to absorb the neccessary nutrients to reach his first form again. In the year 767 her makes his grand appearance and the Cell Saga begins.

    Cell is a unique being. Since he is composed of several different species, he has many diverse abilities and fighting techniques. In the anime he can use just about anyone's techniques, but in the manga, he sticks to the techniques that his "genetic parents" could perform. For example, he can regenerate any limb or appendage from any cell in his body. However, his main core is a nerve in his brain. Even if every part of him is destroyed except that nerve, he can still regenerate. He can utilize Kame Hame Ha, and just about any move Gokou can do, the only catch is, he was created from Gokou's cells before he knew certain moves, so Cell needs to see the moves that Gokou learned after his cells were taken in order to perform the specific move, like Shinkan Idou for example. When Gokou's cells were taken, he didn't know the move yet, so Cell wasn't aware that he could perform it, but after he sees Gokou use it, he gains the ability to teleport. Cell is finally killed on May 26th, 767 AD by Gohan with help from the Z Soldiers.

  168. Cell Junior- Another one of the traits Cell picks up from his Nameckian blood is the ability to asexually reproduce. He can shoot out little copies of himself called Cell Juniors from a tube in his back, (which was once the end of his tail). The cell Juniors are fiesty little guys who seem to have about as much brains as Saibai Men, the only difference here is, these suckers are STRONG. They're nearly as strong as Cell and prove it by beating the snot out of the likes of Vegita and even Gokou. Cell created seven of them, one for each Z Soldier, to beat them up and to make Gohan angry. Unfortunately, it doesn't work, but Cell doesn't care, he just enjoys seeing everyone get maimed by them. Each is eventually killed violently by Son Gohan when he reaches SSJ2.

  169. Senshi Taipu no Nameck Seijin "Warrior Type Nameckian"*- Three soldier Namecks who show up and try to defeat Freeza at the Saichourou's hut, and end up dying violently.

  170. Sentai no Kami "Previous Kami's"*- The previous God's spirits that exist in the Spirit Zone at the bottom of Kami's Palace. Their job is to keep living Kami's out of the zone, and if living Kami's do enter the Spirit Zone, then they will kill the Kami for disobeying the laws of nature.

  171. Sentou Roboto "Battle Robot"*- Very cool mechanical fighting robots that serve as drones for the Big Ghetti Star in DBZ Movie 6. In order to be destroyed, they must be attacked, full power, at their individual weak points.

  172. Kurikinton Soramame- A barber in Penguin Village.

  173. Tarou Soramame- Kurikinton's first son, and a bit of a rebel. He's a high school drop-out who's been smoking since he was young. However, he becomes a cop near the end of Dr. Slump.

  174. Pisuke Soramame- I don't know much about his personality, but he's a great friend of Arale's and he's also Tarou's younger brother.

  175. Zorudo "Salt"*- One of Garlic Junior's lackies. He looks like a squished red version of the villain in Mulan with a tentacle mustache. He's fairly weak and he's one of the first to die.

  176. Son Gokou- Well, not much is known about this character. He doesn't appear to be have a very large part in the story-line and seems like more of a character Toriyama just threw in the manga to take up extra space. I'm just kidding of course. Son Gokou is the main character of Dragon Ball. He was born in the year 737 on the Planet Vegita and came to Earth to destroy the earthlings living on it, and prepare it for sale by Emperor Freeza. Fortunately, he fell over a cliff one day when his adoptive grandfather Gohan was strolling through the forest with him. he bonked his noggin and lost the memories of his mission. Although Gokou is by blood a Saiya-jin, he refers to himself as, "The Saiya-jin raised on Earth", because although he doesn't want to deny his roots, he also doesn't want to declare himself a member of a group that destroyed galaxies without a second thought. In the year 756 AD. he marries his wife Chichi, and in May of 757 AD. she gives birth to their first child, Son Gohan. Skipping ahead, sometime before May in 767 AD. thier second child Son Goten is born. Gokou dies twice during Dragon Ball. The first time is by Piccolo's hand while restraining his brother Raditzu and the second time was when he teleported Cell to Kaiou Samma's planet so that Cell would detonate "safely". After his first death, he was brought back to life with the Dragon Balls and after his second death, Rou Kaioushin gave Gokou his life to Gokou. Later in GT, Gokou leaves with Shenron, but whether he's dead or not is not revealed, it's up to the viewer to decide. Gokou's home address in Mt. Paozu is 439 East District. At the end of Dragon Ball Z Gokou is 48 years old, and that's even including his year spent in the Room of Spirit and Time. At his fully grown state he stands 5' 7"tall and weighs 137 lbs.

  177. Son Goten- Gokou's second son born in the year 767 AD. Goten is able to turn Super Saiya-jin at a much earlier age than his brother and father due to the fact that he was born when his father was much stronger, (which is actually scientifically impossible since the Theory of Inheritance of Aquired Traits has been disproven, but what the hell, it's just a manga). Goten resembles his father very much, and his facial features are almost identical to Gokou's except that his face is just slightly rounder. Goten is famous for his mis-pronunciation of his father's move, "Kame Kame Ha!", and aside from that has only one other attack which is called Totsugeki, which translates to......Attack! Goten has apparently inheritted his father's sense of adventure. During most of his time in DBZ, he's a mere 7 years old, but is still searching for "strong guys" to fight, and is always looking for adventure. In fact, he goes absolutely out of his mind with excitement when he hears about this "Majin Buu guy" and can't wait to see it and fight it. Like Gohan, he neglects to train as he grows older and never really gets much stronger than his during the Buu Saga, although that doesn't mean he doesn't enjoy fighting. He's the only male member of his immediate family who can't turn Super Saiya-jin 2.

  178. Son Gohan- Gohan is Gokou and Chichi's first son who is named after Gokou's adoptive grandfather Gohan, (although the anime makes up another reason for it). He was born in the year 757 AD. and when he first appears in the series he's four years old. If he were any normal child, he would probablly have been traumatized by the age of five. In a single day, he's kidnapped, beaten up, his father gets killed, he's taken away from his family, dropped into the wilderness and then told to survive for 6 months. Pretty severe. His trainer/mentor/idol is Piccolo who trained him during the 6 months before the Saiya-jin arrived. He's basically entirely responsible for Piccolo's reformation due to his kind heart, and the boy grows on Piccolo, (although not as much as the English version would have you think he does). Later on he fights the Ginyu Tokusentai and Freeza on Planet Nameck and does fairly well, but at that point, he's still not a powerhouse. The only time his true potential shines is during the Cell Saga when he basically becomes the savior of the world by being the first Saiya-jin to attain Super Saiya-jin 2 and then completely destroying Cell. After the Cell Saga Toriyama wanted the manga to focus on Gohan, and make him the hero, but that's not what the fans wanted so he backed off of Gohan and his adventures as the Great Saiyaman. In the end of DBZ, Gohan is still a remarkable fighter, but nowhere near what he should be. As Gohan grows older, he has less and less of an urge to train on his own, and since evil doesn't threaten the Earth, he has no reason to. He basically becomes a so-called "nerd" but this is one "nerd" you seriously wouldn't want to mess with. He settles down and marries Videl. They live in a house next to Gokou's and have a daughter named Pan.

  179. Son Gohan Ojisan "Grandpa Gohan"- Born in the year 658, Gohan was a martial arts master who basically lived a hermit's life in Mount Paozu. He was trained by the Muten Roshi at the same time Gyuu Maou was also being trained by him. Gyuu and Gohan knew each other very well. Gohan was the man who wielded the legendary Nyoi Bo, a powerful extending staff. Gohan found the young Saiya-jin baby Kakarroto in the forest of Mount Paozu he named him Son Gokou. He raised Gokou and taught him martial arts, he and Gokou lived happily together. However, one unfrotunate evening, Gokou looked up at the full moon and transformed into his Ohsaru form. Gohan was no match for the beast and was unfortunately crushed by him. Gokou gets to meet up with Gohan's spirit later in the series though. Gohan is actually the last competitor in Uranai Baba's line-up up foes who Gokou faces off against. Gokou doesn't even know that it's his grandfather's spirit, (because he's wearing a cat mask), until after the match. Gokou meets up with his grandfather one last time in the anime at the end of Dragon Ball at the border between the underworld and the Earth.

  180. Taado*- One of Garlic Junior's minions when he returns in the anime. He looks like an over-sized bull with the face of a frog. He does down the same time as Zorudo.

  181. Darbura - The King of Darkness. He's the ruler of an alternate dark dimension. Babidi locates him and posseses him, making him his servant. He's quite powerful, and is right on par with Gohan when he battles him. His ability to conjure weapons, and turn people to stone with his spit make him a dangerous adversary. When he outlives his usefullness, his eyes are gouged out by Buu and later turned into a cookie which Buu devours.

  182. Taresu "Taurus"*- The main villain from DBZ Movie 3, "The Ultimate Decisive Battle for Earth". Whether Taurus is related to Gokou, or whether he's a clone is never revealed, and it doesn't really matter anyway since it's a movie that desn't happen anyway. He comes to Earth to plant the Shinseju Tree and eat the God's Fruit which grows in the tree by absorbing the energy of an entire planet. He's killed by Gokou's Genki Dama.

  183. Daizu "Soybean"*- The short-haired necklace-wearing minion of Taurus in DBZ Movie 3. He's killed by Gokou.

  184. Dai Kaiou "Great Kaiou"- I assume you all know who Kaiou samma is right? He's one of Gokou's trainers, he rules over the northern galaxy. Well, there are Four Kaiou's (one for each direction), and above them is the Great Kaiou, (like the God of Gods). He's never seen in the manga, but in the anime he's portrayed as a punkish old geezer. He wears jeans and a jean jacket, while listening to rock music on his boom box. He's much stronger than the other Kaiou's, but although he never admits it, Gokou is far stronger than he is.

  185. Dai Kaioushin- Okay, you know how Dai Kaiou is the God of the Kaiou's? Well above the Kaiou's are the Kaioushin's and their leader is Dai Kaioushin. Dai Kaioushin is the highest known deity in Dragon Ball Z, and is above all other gods. He was never seen in the manga, only mentioned, however, the anime brings up an interesting episode with him. He was absorbed by Majin Buu millions of years ago. Now, what's interesting about the anime is that it suggests that Fat Buu looks the way he does, because that's what Dai Kaioushin looked like. Let me explain. When Buu absorbs certain characters, his physical appearance changes and he looks similar in one way or another to the character(s) he absorbs. Now, the original Kid Buu looked nothing like Fat Buu does, so the anime suggests that when Kid Buu absorbed Dai Kaioushin, that's how he obtained his fat, cutsey faced appearance since Dai Kaioushin looked that way. It's an interesting theory, and whether Toriyama intended it to be that way or not is unknown, but for once, the anime actually comes up with a logical explanation.

  186. Tao Pai Pai- Tao Pai Pai is a world-reknowned assassin employed by the Red Ribbon Army to take out Gokou and locate several Dragon Balls. When he first meets him, Gokou is without question a match for him. (The man kills Blue Shogun with merely his tongue for God's sakes!). They make him out to be quite a vile character since he kills Upa's father right in front of his eyes and commits various other cruel acts. He's eventually beaten by Gokou, well sorta. The second time he faces off against Gokou, he loses terribly, and in his frustartion tries to utilize weapons. Eventually he throws a grenade at Gokou, and Gokou returns it to him. Boom! However, he's not dead yet. He later return as a cyborg and faces of against Tenshinhan during the 23rd Tenkaichi Budoukai. He wants to settle a score with the "traitor". (You see, Tao Pai Pai is Tsurusennin's brother and Tenshinhan was Tsurusennin's former student). During the match Tao Pai Pai whips out a knife from his mechanical arm and slashes Tenshinhan across the chest, leaving him scarred for the rest of his life. Tenshinhan KO's with a swift powerful punch later in the match. Tao Pai Pai re-appears later in the anime during the Cell Saga. Tao Pai Pai is 5' 8" tall and weighs 155 and 1/2 lbs.

  187. Tapion*- The Legendary Brave soldier from the planet Konatsu who is basically the hero in DBZ Movie 13, "Dragon Fist Assault!! If Gokou Can't do it, Who Can!?". He wields the Holy Sword and a Holy Ocarina which he uses to keep the top half of a terrible monster named Hildegarn sealed inside of him. He has a younger brother named Minoshia who has the bottom half of Hildegarn sealed inside of him.

  188. Tapika*- A competitor in the Annoyoichi Budoukai who can move with incredible speed. The only problem is, he tires out WAY too quickly and has to forfeit the match before his opponent even tries to attack.

  189. Tanbarin "Tamborine"- The vilest and most hated of Piccolo Daimaou's spawn. Tamborine was given the assignment from his father to kill all finalists who participated in previous Tenkaichi Budoukai's and to pick up any Dragon Balls he finds along the way. Tamborine basically goes from place to place killing people and looking for Dragon Balls. His first victim is Kuririn, (whom he killed simply for his Dragon Ball, he hadn't been given his assignment to kill former competitors yet). This was the first time Kuririn had been killed and Gokou was livid with Tamborine. The first time Gokou faces Tamborine, he's KO'ed. However, the second time, he manages to kill Tamborine with a Kame Hame Ha. Tamborine is 6' 1" tall and weighs 164 lbs.

  190. Tanmen*- A little girl Gokou meets on his trip around the world.

  191. Chyunshi*- Boy do I wish I knew who this was. There isn't even a picture of them, so I'm assuming they were a character who was only mentioned in the anime.

  192. Chichi- Gokou's wife and task-master extrordinaire. She is the daughter of Gyuu Maou who promised his daughter's hand in marriage to Gokou when they were just children. Chichi later meets up with Gokou at the 23rd Tenkaichi Budoukai and loses to him. After their match she reminds him who she is, and asks him if he wants to marry her. Gokou says, "Sure", (but unfortunately he has no idea what marriage is). Chichi is known for being very hard on her son's academic life, and although it doesn't play upon it quite as much in the manga, in the anime, she goes ballistic at some points over her son's study habits, (or lack there-of), and Gokou's influence on him. Although it's not always shown, she REALLY does love her husband a LOT and in the anime there are some sweet scenes between the two.

  193. Chyao*- A little girl Gokou meets during his trip around the world in the anime. She's saved by Gokou in the mountains near her village and she begs him to help save her village from Ginkaku and Kinkaku.

  194. Chaozu- Chaozu is Tenshinhan's pint-sized telepathic pal. Tenshinhan and Chaozus past is never completely revealed but it's known for sure that Tenshinhan will protect Chaozu no matter what. Chaozu is classified as being an Earthling, so if he belongs to some different race, it isn't known. He stands 4' 5" tall and weighs 73 lbs. Chaozu can fight very well, but most of his special abilities revolve around telepathy. He can cease a person's movement if he's able to keep his concentration and can talk to Tenshihan by telepathy.

  195. Chyapa Ou "King Chyapa"- A competitor in the Tenkaichi Budoukai, famous for his strength, who loses to Gokou twice in the preliminary rounds of the 21st and 23rd Tenkaichi Budoukai's. he's 6' tall and weighs 182 lbs. His home address is SSR249905C.

  196. Chyapu Chyai*- A midget competitor in the Annoyoichi Budoukai who is able to overcome his opponents by making many duplicates of himself and overwhelm his competitors.

  197. Chyuri*- A little girl Gokou meets in the Goro Goro mountains while performing his training for Kami. He helps her find her pet bird Pi Pi.

  198. Chinshyou Ken*- Chinshyou is the son of the martial arts teacher, Chindai. He's very proud of his power, and doesn't have much faith in Gokou's strength. He tries to prevent Gokou from participating in a martial arts tournament by putting a laxative in Gokou's Miso soup.

  199. Chindai Ken*- Chindai is the owner of a martial arts school in a rural village. He is a master of the Seikyokuryuken fighting style, but unforunately, he suffers from a debilitating disease that tires him quickly.

  200. Tsuno- The elder of the village of Nameckians that Vegita kills off. There were nineteen Nameckians living in his village before Vegita killed them all.

  201. Tsufuru-jin*- The Tsufuru-jin were the people who inhabited Planet Plant before the Saiya-jin took over and re-named it Planet Vegita. Their name (Tsufuru) is a play on the Japanese word for fruit, and the name Saiya is a play on the Japanese word for vegetable. So basically, it was the fruits VS the vegetables. (Puns run amok in DBZ). The Tsufuru-jin were wiped out by the Saiya-jin when a full moon occurred, causing the Saiya-jin to become Ohsaru and overcome the Tsufuru-jin. Now of course, if you want to go by GT or the two OVA's then you could of course say, "Dr. Raichi and Dr. Myuu were still around!". Well, yeah, but the Tsufuru-jin were actually only in the anime anyway so :P

  202. Tsuru Sennin "Crane Elder"- Tsuru Sennin trained alongside Kame Sennin under Mutaito's martial arts school. The two were almost always rivals, and it carries through to Tsuru Sennin's pupils Tenshinhan and Chaozu. His younger brother is the world famous assassin, Tao Pai Pai.

  203. Tsukutsun Tsun- A member of Penguin Village who very much reminds me of Yamucha in both his action and his appearance. From what I've seen of the series, I believe that he likes Akane, and in a series of manga even rescues her from a mad scientist. He's two years older than his sister Tsururin and was born in the year 732 AD.

  204. Tsuruten Tsun- Tsukutsun's father I don't know much about him, but he shows up from time to time in Dr. Slump.

  205. Tsururin Tsun- Tsukutsun's little sister born in the year 730 AD. She's seen riding around with Tarou when she makes her appearance in the DB manga.

  206. Tsutsutsunodano Teiyuugoutsururin- Bleck, what a mouthful, and I don't think I put it together correctly either, but oh well. Anyway, this lady is Tsukutsun's mom.

  207. Teouno o Motsuta Oyaji "Hand Axe Wielding Man"- The guy who smashes an axe over Gokou's head when he busts into his house in the beginning of Dragon Ball.

  208. Terebi Anaunsa "Television Announcer"- A television.....announcer for station CQV who tells the world of the horrific events which occur at Ginger Town.

  209. Tenkaichi Budoukai Anaunsa "Tenkaichi Budoukai Announcer"- The blonde haired quick witted announcer for every Tenkaichi Budoukai in Dragon Ball. It may seem like a small role, but he develops a personality during the series, and after a while, you actually get to like him almost as a main character. Whenever Gokou and the rest participate in the tournament, some problem always seems to come up, and he'll cover it to and make it seem like part of the action, (well except for when Piccolo reveals his true identity in the 23rd Budoukai). He's also one of the few normal people in the world who doesn't believe that Mr. Satan really defeated Cell.

  210. Tenshinhan- Tenshinhan is the walking mountain of muscle who resembles Sagat, (but with two more eyes than Sagat has). I'm going to start off by saying that Tenshinhan is classified as being a human. Yes, it's weird that he has three eyes, but isn't it also odd that Kuririn doesn't have a nose? Tenshinhan's past is never fully revealed, but somehow in life he became best friends with Chaozu. He treats Choazu like a son, and if you really want to tick this guy off, then you only need to badmouth his little buddy, since he defends him fiercly. Tenshinhan's martial arts teacher was Tsuru Sennin, whom he abandons after he finds out that Tsuru Sennin is using Tenshinhan as an instrument of revenge against Kame Sennin's students by trying to make them cheat to win. When Tenshinhan finds out that Tsuru was forcing Chaozu to telepathically hold Gokou in place, he tells Chaozu to stop. Tsuru Sennin then holds up Chazou and threatens to hurt him if he doesn't hold Gokou down, but then he's blasted away by a Kame Hame Ha from Kame Sennin. After that display, Tenshinhan loses all respect for his former master and trains himself from there forward. Contrary to popular belief, Tenshinhan is the strongest human Z Soldier. he is far stronger than Kuririn, he just normally doesn't get a chance to show it. As the series progresses, less and less of him and Chaozu is seen, but they pop up from time to time. They are always training together in a wilderness area. Tenshinhan is 6' 1" tall and is the second tallest Z Soldier. He weighs 166 lbs.

  211. Dende- Dende is the Saichourou's 108th child. He is a Dragon Type Nameckian who is rescued by Gohan and Kuririn early in the Freeza saga. At first he is very quiet and reserved, but later he becomes one of Gohan's best friends. After the fight on Nameck is finished, Dende eventually leaves the Earth and goes to New Nameck. Several years later, Gokou comes to New Nameck looking for a new Kami. Muuri suggests that Dende would be a great choice, so Gokou takes Dende to Earth to become to new Kami. Dende powers up the Dragon Balls after he arrives and allows three wishes to be made at one time.

  212. Tenron*- The head master of a martial arts school in the same town as Chendai. He is a master of the Hyoga style of martial arts and intends to kill Chendai at the village's martial arts tournament, so that he can become the head martial arts teacher.

  213. Tooma*- A tall masculine member of Bardock's team. He's the only person Bardock gets a chance to talk to when he finds his group slaughtered by Dodoria and some of Freeza's underlings. The blood-stained headband that Bardock wears was worn by Tooma as an armband when he was still alive. Bardock removed it from him after his death and wore it honoring his team.

  214. Dore*- One of the member's of Koola's Special Forces in DBZ Movie 6 "Battle of the Strongest". I think he's pretty lame as a villain he looks....stupid. Literally and figuratively. Piccolo takes him out.

  215. Tooro*- The last surviving Kanassan, (a race which Bardock's team wipes out at the begining of the Bardock TV Special), who curses Bardock with the ability to see the future, (meaning, the complete destruction of planet Vegita and the importance of his "wothless" son's future).

  216. Dokuta Uiro "Dr. Willow"*- The main villain in DBZ Movie 2, "The World's Strongest Man". He was a scientist who worked on evil experiments with his assistant/creation Dr. Koochin. However, 50 years before the start of Dragon Ball, horrible weather said to be sent from the gods sealed him in his laboratory in the Tsurumaitsuburi Mountains. However, his brain was transplanted into a large mechnical device that would keep him alive until the day when he could find the world's strongest man and take control of their body. Gokou takes him out with the Genki Dama.

  217. Dokuta Koochin "Dr. Koochin"*- Dr. Willow's android assistant who gathers the Dragon Balls and frees Dr. Willow from his laboratory. He is well equiped for fighting even though he appears old and harmless. His hand can transform into a chain gun and his staff can hurl energy blasts.

  218. Dokuta Raichi "Dr. Raichi"*- I dunno why they included this guy in the Daizenshyu, but oh well. Dr. Raichi was a villain who appeared in two Dragon Ball Z home videos which were actually animated guides to two video games for a video game system that never even came out in America called the Playdia. The two games were pretty terrible, (as most DB related video games are), but the cool part were the two home movies that played out as a normal story of DBZ, but actually were guiding you through the game. Anyway, Dr. Raichi is the villain of the game. He was formerly a member of the Tsufuru-jin race which the Saiya-jin wiped out, but he returns to get revenge on the Saiya-jin. He's defeated easily by Gokou and gang since the only thing he has going for him is a force-field which Gokou and the others figure out how to get around, (by shooting a blast into the forcefield with him). But his ultimate creation is really cool. I don't believe it was given a name, but he's a big red sucker with blue orbs on his body. He's very strong, (and cool).

  219. Toteppo*- A squat masculine member of Bardock's team who is apparently the strong man of the group. His skin is darker than the others, and he has what appear to be scars on his forehead.

  220. Toto Oyako "Toto Family"*- A family of Pteradactyls that Gohan and Goten befriend. The father and mother aren't given a name, but Gohan and Goten call their baby "Chibi" which means little or small. Chibi is captured by the circus and the Great Saiyaman tries to rescue him, but before he can, Chibi's momma and papa go on an angry rampage searching for their child.

  221. Dodoria- One of Freeza's top soldiers. He doesn't appear to be powerful, (since he's a fat pink blob with spiky bones stretching his skin), but for his size, he's remarkably fast and powerful. He's ruthless and is willing to do any evil task for Freeza. Dodoria is killed by a ki blast from Vegita. His power level was approximately 22,000.

  222. Toninjinka- The boss of a small group gangsters that terrorize a small town. The ironic thing, is that he's a giant rabbit and his gang members wear fake rabbit ears. Fruity? Yes. However, the reason Toninjinka is feared so much is because he has the ability to turn people into carrots, just by touching them. He's sent to the moon by Gokou where he's forced to make rabbit shaped treats for kids, (it's a play on an old Japanese folk-tale which says that rabbits live on the moon and make treats for children, which is also why Sailor Moon's name is Usagi, because Usagi means rabbit in Japanese). Toninjinka is 5' 2" tall and weighs 135 and 1/2 lbs.

  223. Dorakyu Man "Dracula Man"- One of Uranai Baba's ghostly fighters. He fights using typical vampire techniques (like sucking blood out of his opponents). He beats Kuririn, but he loses against Puuaru and Upa. They use a combination of Garlic Breath and Puuaru's changing ability beat him.

  224. Doramu "Drum"- The last and shortest lived of Piccolo Daimaou's evil spawn. Daimaou spits him out when Tenshinhan arrives to try and seal Daimaou in he Denshi Jar. Drum beats the heck out of Tenshinhan, but when Gokou arrives on the scene, he knocks Drum's eyes out with a single kick.

  225. Mirai no Trunks "Future Trunks"- The Daizenshyu lists both Future and Little Trunks as the same character, but since they're so different, I'm dividing them into two seperate sections. Future Trunks comes to the present from the year 784 AD. His future is a bleak one. Son Gokou died from a viral heart disease he picked up on the planet Yardrat and soon three years later, the Atificial Humans showed up, and killed all of the Z Soldiers, except Gohan. As Trunks grows older, Gohan trains him, but eventually he is killed by the Artificial Humans. (In the anime, it was Gohan's death that made Trunks angry enough to turn SSJ, in the manga, he was was able to turn SSJ prior to Gohan's death). His mother, Buruma, invents a Time Machine which will allow him to travel back through time to the year 764 AD and give Gokou the medicine to cure his disease. (The medicine had not been invented till many years after Gokou's death). He also came to warn Gokou of the arrival of the Artificial Humans three years from then. With this accomplished, he returns to his future, and waits 6 months for the Time Machine to recharge. (It can only be assumed that he trained during this period of time). When the Time Machine is fully recharged, he returns to the same time he was in before, but three years later. From this point he sticks around, and his identity is slowly revealed to everyone. In other words, the fact that he's Vegita and Buruma's son. During the Cell Game, Trunks is killed, which causes Vegita to FLIP (proving that he actually does care for his son) but he's quickly ressurected by the Dragon Balls. Soon after that he returns to his future in 785 AD. and is finally able to kill Androids 17 and 18, as well as the Cell in his time period three years later in 788 AD. Trunks then returns to the past again, (in the anime story-line ONLY), just to say "hi" to everyone and participate in a martial arts tournament, the events of which are shown in DBZ Movie 9. I don't normally go into this much detail, but I'd say Trunks is a pretty popular character, and this should answer most of your major questions about him. As a person, Trunks is fairly quiet. He doesn't say much except when he has something VERY important to say, or he's invited into a conversation. Trunks use a formal type of language. That's not to say he's uptight, he's just normally very polite. Even when fighting Cell, he keeps his cool and carries on a conversation with him. It's safe to safe that he's the type of person who would be willing to sacrafice himself so that others could live.

  226. Chibi Trunks "Little Trunks"- I've been waiting to do this one, because I want to kill a myth which seems to be spreading. A lot of people say that Trunks is "spoiled and a complete brat". They say he's a complete contrast to Future Trunks, yadda yadda yadda. That's not true. Trunks is simply like any normal eight year old. Although Future Trunks is very polite and acts very different from an eight year old, (which would seem obvious since he's a young adult), Chibi Trunks can be seen developing into the same type of person that Future Trunks was during the end of DBZ, and through DBGT (If you count GT that is). However, there is a BIG difference between the two which no one ever seems to touch upon. Chibi Trunks is filled with pride much like his father. He has little faith in Son Gokou when he arrives, and doesn't believe that he's any stronger than his father. (Until he feels Gokou's ki when he turns SSJ3 of course). Trunks also defends his father valiantly when Buu attacks him, and is angered by the fact that someone like his dad could be beat up on so easily. Chibi Trunks is also very adventurous and is always looking to fight strong opponents. Another myth is that Goten is hesistant to embark on adventures with Trunks. Goten and Trunks both go nuts when they hear about Majin Buu and can't wait to see him, (and fight him). Trunks was born in the year 766 AD. and was eighteen years old when DBZ ended. Like Goten, he had the ability to turn Super Saiya-jin from an early age.

  227. Akira Toriyama- Toriyama shows up in Dragon Ball (drawn in his robot form) from time to time as a joke. He was born in 1955 and worked on Dragon Ball from 1984 to 1995.

  228. Torubi*- a competitor in the Annoyoichi Budoukai who looks like a cross between Freeza and Cell.

  229. Dorodabo*- A fat flying villain from DBZ Movie 4, "Super Saiya-jin Son Gokou". His design and personality was definately inspired by Dodoria. He's killed by Piccolo. (He blasts his head off).

  230. Metade ora no Kitoushi "Metade the Priest"*- A fanatical priest from DBZ Movie 10 who believes that human sacrafice is neccessary to ward off an evil monster. But Goten, Trunks and Videl make a fool out of him when they prove him wrong, and defeat the monster, (a dinosaur), by themselves. The priest later supplies Jyaga, (the "villain" from DBZ Movie 11), with the blood of Brolly, (in order to make a clone of him), so he can get revenge on the kids.

  231. Nappa- An Elite Saiya-jin soldier born on the planet Vegita. In the anime, he's shown to be sort of a bodyguard for Vegita, (Like Vegita would really need Nappa to guard him), when he was a child. In the manga, they're just shown as fellow soldiers. Nappa is not stupid, although he would appear to be that way. He loses control of himself at times when someone shows him up, but he's usually well composed, (for a killer that is). His power level is 4,000 which is light years beyond most of the Z Soldiers' at the time he and Vegita show up on Earth, except for Son Gokou's of course. At the time of his death he was 50 years old. I'd also like to point out that Nappa is not bald. He apparently shaves his head by choice because, later in the manga, Vegita explains that once a Saiya-jin's hairstyle reaches a certain length, it will never change, or grow longer.

  232. Namu- An competitor in the 21st Tenkaichi Budoukai who looks like he's from Indian. He comes from a small village, and he's participating in the Budoukai to gain money neccessary to buy several months supply of water since his village is suffering from a terrible drought. He loses to Gokou, but Kamesennin sees the man's sorrowful situation and supplies him with two months worth of water. In the anime, Gokou pays a visit to Namu's village and helps him solve the drought problem. Namu is 5' 9" tall and weighs 151 lbs. His home address is SAM275508S.

  233. Nameck sei-jin no Waka Mono "Young Nameckians"- Three yound Soldier Type Nameckians who try to defend Muuri's village. They each have a power of 3,000 and are, unforunately, all killed very quickly, (and violently), by Dodoria.

  234. Niko chan Daiou "High King Niko chan"- An alien from who is stranded in Penguin Village, along with his servant. He resembles a butt with a face and antenna. And I commonly refer to him as, "The butt monster from Uranus". He's always trying to conquer the Earth, either that or just build himself a spaceship so that he can get home. He's a complete moron and his servant is actually very bright. (Reminds me of Emperor Pilaf). He pops up for and second in the DB manga and gives a "peace" sign.

  235. Nishi Kaioushin "Kaioushin of the West"- The only female Kaioushin. She's killed by Buu millions of years before Dragon Ball begins.

  236. Nishi no Miyakono no Jyosei "Western Capitol Woman"- A woman who Gokou asks for directions to Buruma's house. She doesn't know who Buruma is, but she directs him to a police officer who might help him. Gokou gives her 100,000 zeni he won in a street fight as thanks. (Expressing the fact that Gokou has very little if any concept of money).

  237. Nishi no Miyako no Chinpira "Western Capitol Punk"- A thief who tries to steal Gokou's 100,000 zeni, but ends up getting beat up by him. He and his partner play a MUCH larger role in the anime.

  238. Nise Supa Senshi "Fake Super Soldiers"*- In the anime, when Gokou and Vegita are wandering around Buu's stomach, they're ambushed by copies of Gotenks, Gohan and Piccolo. Of course they're not the real deal so they're beaten fairly quickly, but the fight is sort of cool since it's Z Soldier VS Z Soldier.

  239. Nikki*- Garlic Junior's fruity servant from DBZ Movie 1 who has quite a taste for alcoholic apples. Despite his femenine voice and mannerisms, he's a pretty powerful fighter. He's killed by Gokou's Kame Hame Ha, along with Ginger.

  240. Ningyo "Mermaid"- A beautiful mermaid who Gokou tries to bring to Muten Roshi as a house-maid. (One can only begin to imagine what else Muten Roshi also intends her to be).

  241. Ningen o Utsu Otoko "Human Gunman"- During the time when Buu is starting to settle down with Mr. Satan, a very sick individual stops caring about life and goes sround killing people for sport. In the anime and manga, I was actually shocked when it showed him and his partner gun down an old man and woman. This idiot and his partner are basically responsible for the creation of Super Buu. They chance upon Buu while he's playing catch with Bee and shoot the puppy. Mr. Satan locates the two and beats them up, then goes back to Buu who heals the puppy instantly. But then the idiot returns and shoots Mr. Satan through the chest. Buu heals Satan, but his anger explodes and Old Buu is released from his anger. Luckily this guy has a pleasing death. Old Buu blasts him into a million pieces with a point-blank ki blast.

  242. Ningen o Utsu Otoko no Tsukibito "Human Gunman's Associate"- A fat British-looking bloke who occasionaly picks off people with his buddy. Fortunately, he has one of the most horrible deaths in DBZ. Buu liquifies and shoots himself down the guy's throat, then expands, turning him into human confetti.

  243. Neizu*- One of Koola's Special Forces members from DBZ Movie 5, "Battle of the Strongest". He looks like a human frog and can pull his head in like a turtle, (which saves his butt a few times), but alas, he's killed by Piccolo. Death by electrocution.

  244. Neiru "Nail"- The most powerful Soldier Type Nameckian and the Saichourou's personal guardian. His max power level 42,000. He faces off against Freeza, but is beaten horribly by him, and left to die when Freez finds out that the dragon has been summoned. Later on, Piccolo chances upon him, and has a quick conversation with him about his roots. Then he convinces Piccolo to let him merge with him. After they merge, Piccolo goes off to fight Freeza with his new strength.

  245. Nokku- A testosterone filled youth who competes in the 28th Tenkaichi Budoukai. His opponent is Vegita and before the competition even begins, he goes up to Vegita calling him and old man. When Vegita doesn't reply Nokku laughs and tells him to, "Die! Hahaha!". Vegita raises his fist without even turning around and smashes the kid about 20 feet away into a brick wall.

  246. Arale Norimaki- The main character of Dr. Slump, Arale is a little robot built by Senbe who is hyper-active and fun-loving. Even though she's just a litte kid, (she was born in the year 745 AD), she's brilliant and is already in High School. Gokou meets up with her in the manga, and she travels around with him for a bit on the Kintoun. Later on she rescues Gokou by beating up Blue Shogun.

  247. Gajira Norimaki AKA Gatcchan- A pair of flying angels who speak a strange language that only Arale understands. They're just as silly as Arale, and because of that, they're probablly Arale's best friends.

  248. Senbe Norimaki- Senbe is a self-proclaimed genius, (even though his own son is much smarter than him). He creates Arale chan and many crazy inventions such as a Time Stop watch and all sorts of vehicles. He's not exactly attractive, but he's really a kind-hearted guy. He has the ability to hold a handsome pose for 3 minutes, then he turns back to normal. He eventually marries Midori Yamabuki and they have a son together. He was born in 722 AD.

  249. Taabo Norimaki "Turbo Norimaki"- Senbe and Midori's son who is an incredible genius. He has the ability to memorize the blueprints of a machine simply by looking at it, and he can reconstruct things telepathically. He's the only other person in Dragon Ball who demonstrates the ability to build a Dragon Radar from scratch. he was born in 749 AD.

  250. Midori Norimaki (Yamabuki is her maiden name)- Midori is Arale's beautiful teacher at school who Senbe has a crush on. Throughout the series, he's always trying to impress her, and eventually she marries him. The two live happily together and have a son named Turbo. She was born in the year 727 AD.

  251. Baata- Baata is the tall blue member of the Ginyu Tokusentai who posseses incredible speed. He's very confident in the ability of himself and The Ginyu Tokusentai until Gokou shows up and makes a mockery of Baata's speed. Baata is KO'ed by Gokou and later killed by Vegita.

  252. Bardock- Bardock is Gokou's father and the only Saiya-jin who knew what was going to become of his planet, and people. He was cursed with the ability to see the future, and saw glimpses of his planet being destroyed, as well as images of his son's life on Earth. He makes a last stand against Freeza and tries to kill him, but of course his attempt is fruitless and he's killed by the biggest Death Ball Freeza ever created. But as he's dying he finally realizes that it's not him who was destined to defeat Freeza, it was his son. He talks to his son from the after-life while little Kakarotto is on his way to Earth and charges him with the task of killing Freeza to avenge his father, and the Saiya-jin.

  253. Baio Senshi tachi "Bio Warriors"*- A group of odd looking biological warriors in DBZ Movie 11 created by Jyaga's scientists. The Bio Warriors are strong by human standards, but nothging compared to Number 18, Trunks and Goten. They're all beaten effortlessly.

  254. Baio Burori "Bio Brolly"- Bio Brolly wins my vote for the lamest movie villain ever in DBZ Movie 11. He looks EXACTLY like the Swamp Thing with pieces of corn sticking out of his head. Which is really ashame considering the animators could have made him look really cool. Anyway, let me explain why he looks so wierd. Jyaga made a clone of Brolly, WHICH LOOKED PERFECTLY FINE, but when Bio Brolly awakens, the scientists try to contain him with a type of flesh-eating sludge. Well, it turns out, the stuff has absolutely no effect on Brolly. It just melts his skin, and turns green when it solidifies on him, making him look retarded. So anyway Goten, Trunks, Number 18 and Kuririn fight him for a bit, and the movie could have been saved if he had a cool death....but of course he didn't. He's stopped by.....rain. Which to everyone's surprise magically solidifies the sludge. Sigh. That's what happens when people try to milk something for too long. The Brolly movies should have ended with DBZ Movie 10.

  255. Baio Man "Bio Man"*- You've heard of Saibai Man? Well this is the Bio Man. The Bio Men are little copies off of Saibai Men who appear in DBZ Movie 2, "The World's Strongest Man". They're pretty weak by themselves, but when they attack in groups, they can overcome someone easily.

  256. Baioreto Taisa "Violet Taisa"- The only female high ranking officer in the Red Ribbon Army. She's only seen briefly, and simply gives Red Sousei the 5 Star Dragon Ball which her team located.

  257. Paikuhan "Pikehan"*- I dunno, I don't normally like anime-only characters, but I like Pikehan. His personality during the Annoyoichi Budoukai mimics Piccolo's in that he's very quiet and reserved, (even Gokou says there's a similarity between the two). But you would never know that if you saw him in DBZ Movie 12, where he acts very boastful and loud. He fights Gokou in the final round of the Annoyoichi Budoukai in the anime AND DBZ Movie 12.

  258. Haiya Dragon "Haiyla Dragon"*- Gohan's Dragon friend from DBZ Movies 3, 4 and 5. He's a young Dragon who befriends Gohan after he rescues him from a burning forest. The Haiyla Dragon also shows up in several episodes of Dragon Ball Z.

  259. Paozu Bachan "Grandma Paozu"- An old woman who lives in a village near Mount Paozu who gives Gokou and Buruma the 6 Star Dragon Ball as a reward for rescuing the girls Oolong captured.

  260. Bakuterian "Bacterian"- A huge filfthy competitor in the 21st Tenkaichi Budoukai who washed or brushed his teeth since the day he was born. He uses his stench as a weapon since his opponents need to hold their noses closed, he can attack them better. All of his special attacks are disgusting and range from spitting on his victim, to touching them with sweat from his groin. Kuririn almost loses to him, until Gokou reminds Kuririn that he's just imagining the smell because he doesn't have a nose. Which Kuririn quickly remembers and beats Bacterian almost instantly. Bacterian is 6' 8" tall and weighs a whopping 435 and 1/2 lbs.

  261. Pagosu*- A member of the buffoonish Penguin Village Police Force.

  262. Hasukii "Husky"*- A master thief employed by the Red Ribbon Army to steal Gokou's Dragon Balls. While it's never clearly stated whether she is or isn't, it can be assumed that she's actually Ranchi's blonde haired alter-ego. Even though she tries many times, she not successful in getting Gokou's Dragon Ball, a task for which the Red Ribbon Army pays her 1,000,000 zeni to accomplish.

  263. Basu Jyakuhan "Bus hijackers"*- A group of three criminals who hijack a Satan City Bus filled with seniors. The Great Saiyaman and Videl work together to arrest the criminals and then stop the bus from falling off a cliff.

  264. Pasuta "Pasta"- A vexing red-head female villain from DB Movie 1, "The Legend of Shenron". She's a vicious killer who works for King Gurumesu.

  265. Pachinko Kozou "Pachinko Boy"- A brave little boy who fires a pachinko ball at Oolong from a sling-shot when he tries to initimidate Gokou.

  266. Hakkake Basan "Grandma Hakkake"*- An old woman who lives in a nothern forest by herself. She teaches Chichi how to be a good wife for Gokou, and she lets Gokou and Chichi borrow the Basho Sen so they can put out the flames at Gyuu Maou's castle.

  267. Hacchi*- A Chinese boy who lives with the orphans Gohan finds when he tries to escape his training.

  268. Pato Kaa o Kowa Sareru Keikan "Patrol Car Police Officers"- An unfortunate pair of police officers that try to pull over Androids 16, 17 and 18 for stealing from a clothing store. Number 18 gets annoyed by them so she flies out the window of their van and destroys the policemen's car. She spares the lives of the officers though.

  269. Babidi- Babidi is the son of the evil magician Bibidi who created the monster known as Majin Buu millions of years before Dragon Ball began. (Catching the pattern? Bibidi, Babidi Buu). In order to ressurect Buu, he needed to gather a large amount of Battle Damage Energy. He thought that it would take thousands of years to accumulate the energy he was searching for, but when he discovers Gokou and gang, his process is sped-up quite a bit. He's able to control people with evil in their hearts. And takes advantage of the King of Evil, (Darbura) and two humans with his method, not to mention countless aliens and soldiers which inhabit his underground ship. After finally gathering all of the neccessary energy, he resurrects Buu, and declares himself Buu's master (see also: Ruler of the Universe). Buu ignores Babidi at first, but then Babidi threatens to seal Buu away again. Not wanting to spend the next couple million years sealed away again, Buu concedes and does Babidi's bidding. However, much later after Gokou finishes his SSJ3 fight with Fat Buu, he asks Buu why he's obeying Babidi when he could easily kill him. Buu think about it for a minute and gets an evil grin. Babidi threatens to seal Buu away again, but it's too late. Buu rears back and punches Babidi's head off. That's the end of that scum.

  270. Baburusu "Bubbles"- Kaiou samma's pet monkey who serves as a training excercise. The excercise is to catch Bubbles. It seems easy, but the gravity on Kaiou's planet in 10x earth's gravity and Bubbles is perfectly used to it. It takes Gokou 11 days to catch Bubbles.

  271. Papoi- Papoi is the Southern Kaiou's best student. Southern Kaiou claims that Papoi could mop the floor with Gokou. Both Northern Kaiou and Southern start to debate who's stronger, (meanwhile Gokou is training in the background with 2 ton weights on his arms and legs). Both Kaiou's get competitive, so Northern Kaiou tells Southern Kaiou to increase each weight on Gokou to 10 tons. Southern Kaiou says it's absurd but he does it anyway. At first Gokou can barely move, but he simply turns Super Saiya-jin and starts zipping around like lightning. Southern Kaiou's jaw hits the ground, and he quickly says that Papoi shouldn't waste his time fighting Gokou. ( Yeah sure ;P ). Papoi is actually seen in the anime. He looks like a giant blue Itialian chef, equiped with one of those puffy white chef hats.

  272. Karoni*- One of Mr. Satan's pupils who tries to beat Cell in the Cell Game. Cell doesn't even bother trying to fight him. He sends Karoni flying straight into the air and when he hits the ground, he makes a cartoon-ish hole shaped like him. Karoni is a very vain individual who's very popular with the ladies and prides himself on his swivelling hips.

  273. Paragasu "Paragus"*- Paragus is the father of Brolly who is seen in DBZ Movie 10. While he still lived on planet Vegita, he was punished by King Vegita for being the father of Brolly with death. He was thrown away like trash along-side his son, and left to die. However, Brolly's power was so strong, it kept Paragus alive, and helped him and his father survive in space when Freeza blew up planet Vegita. When he and his son safely landed on a planet, he made a full recovery and plotted his revenge. He would kill the son of King Vegita by controlling Brolly's incredible power with a device worn on his hand and on Brolly's head. At the end of the movie, Paragus is crushed to death by his own son, and then incinerated in a comet.

  274. Bari Kaan "Barry Kahn"- A handsome teen super star who Buu tries to impersonate, (in order to make a girl not repulsed by him), by reshaping his rubbery face.

  275. Pan- Pan is Gohan and Videl's daughter, (thus Gokou's grand daughter), born in the year 779 AD. She competes in the 28th Tenkaichi Budoukai when she's only five years old and proves that she definately has her father's blood in her by completely wrecking her opponents, (even Goten!). Pan plays a very large role in Dragon Ball GT.

  276. Panji "Pansy"*- The little girl from Dragon Ball Movie 1, "The Legend of Shenron", who is rescued from the clutches of Oolong by Gokou. She befriends the group and tells them about a great martial arts master who can save her town from Gurumesu's army. His name is Muten Roshi.

  277. Panji no chichi "Pansy's dad"*- A large kind-hearted man who tries to defend the people of his town from the harsh punishment dealt by Gurumesu's men, but he gets beaten up by Bongo for standing up to them.

  278. Panji no haha "Pansy's mom"*- Pansy's mom from Dragon Ball Movie 1, "The Legend of Shenron".

  279. Panda no Oyako "The panda parent and child"- A family of pandas who watch in horror as Tamborine kills Giran.

  280. Panbukin*- The fat quick tempered member of Bardock's team. He gets injured while in Ohsaru form during a battle and retaliates by crushing the poor alien that hit him. His name is a play on the word "pumpkin".

  281. Panputto- A young cocky competitor in the 22nd Tenkaichi Budoukai who is easily defeated by Gokou with a single punch.

  282. Piano- The longest living member of Piccolo Daimaou's mutant spawn. He's a teradactyl humanoid figure, and is very bright. He's killed by his own father's crushing weight when Gokou kicks Daimaou into him.

  283. Piiza "Pizza"*- Mr. Satan's sexy promotional agent who makes announcements for him and basically tells everyone how wonderful Mr. Satan is. She only appears in the anime during the Cell Game.

  284. Bideru "Videl"- Mr. Satan's daughter and the strongest non-Z Soldier human. Videl was born in 756 AD and grew up for the most part with just her dad. She becomes suspicious of Gohan when he shows up suddenly at Orange Star High School, and shadows him for a short time to find out more about him. Eventually she discovers his secret identity as the Great Saiyaman and forces Gohan to teach her how to fly. Eventually she learns how to fly under and starts to develop a liking to him. Over the course of time, Videl learns everything about Gohan and his family and friends, (such as the fact that it was Gohan who defeated Cell and her father is actually a weakling compared to all of them). Videl and Gohan get married sometime after the Buu Saga and have a daughter named Pan. You'll notice that Videl's name is a pun along the line of her father's name. When you rearrange the letters it spells "devil".

  285. Bideru no mama "Videl's mom"- Not much is known about Videl's mom. However, she did die of complications of some sort a while after Videl was born.

  286. Bibidi- Bibidi is Babidi's father and the person who created the great magical device of destruction known as Majin Buu. Millions of years before Dragon Ball began, Bibidi lead Buu on a rampage which extended even as far as the holy planet Kaioushin Kai. However, Buu eventually became too threatening and Bibidi decided to seal his creation in a sphere. He hid it so that no one would be able to discover it.

  287. Hikui Tori "Hikui Bird"*- A rare near-extinct bird that dwells in volcanos,whose feathers must be used to create a Basho Sen.

  288. Pigero*- A fifteen year-old boy who defends the orphans, living in the remains of their town which was devastated by a tsunami, from the members of an orphange that wants to take in the orphans and provide proper care for them. At the end of the episode, Pigero realizes that it would be better if the children went to the orphanage and lets them be taken away for their own good, even though it's a very difficult decision for him.

  289. Bigu Gete Suta "Big Ghetti Star"*- A planet sized space ship which is actually a planet-devouring mass of intelligent machinery from DBZ Movie 6. At the core of the Big Ghetti Star is Koola's brain which survived his trip through the sun. Koola basically has complete control of the ship and can make thousands upon thousands of mechanical replicas of himself. The Big Ghetti Star gets blown up due to Koola's stupidity. He captures Gokou and Vegita and starts to drain their energy to power the Big Ghetti Star. Being polite, Gokou and Vegita decide to turn SSJ and give him all the energy he wants. The Big Ghetti Star becomes over-loaded with their energy and explodes.

  290. Piccolo Daimaou "Piccolo the Great Demon King"- Piccolo Daimaou is the incarnation of evil. When the original Piccolo became God, his sould needed to be cleansed of all evil. The evil side of him was removed and became Piccolo Daimaou. Daimaou wreaked havoc all over the Earth. The problem was, that he and Kami were still the same person and if one was killed, the other would die also. Muten Roshi's teacher, Mutaito, stood up to Daimaou and induced the suicidal Mafuba. Mutaito's attack succeeded in sealing Daimaou inside the Denshi Jar in the year 461 AD, but of course he also died as a result. However, in 753 AD, Pilaf frees Daimaou from the Denshi Jar, and he works towards world conquest again. He almost succedes too, but he's stopped by the combined efforts of Tenshinhan and Gokou. Gokou propells himself through Daimaou's chest, leaving a hole in him the size of a beach ball. But before he dies, he spits out an egg containing.........

  291. Piccolo (Ma Jyunia "Demon Junior")- Piccolo is the reincarnation of his father Piccolo Daimaou. Many people think it's a plot hole that Kami is still alive after Daimaou is killed. Well it's not because Daimaou lives on in Piccolo. Piccolo retains all of his father's memories and abilities, however, he does have something that his father didn't. A conscience. When Piccolo first appears during the 23rd Tenkaichi Budoukai, he's severely brutal and seriously has it in for Gokou. The next time he shows up to assist Gokou in defeating Raditzu, he still has no feelings for Gokou and would kill him just as soon as he'd kill Raditzu.....which....uh...he does. But that's besides the point. The point is, he still leads his own evil path which is being obstructed by the Saiya-jin, so he's forced to train Gokou's child to be a warrior. As the one year of training progresses, Piccolo becomes attached to the child, but never ONCE hints to it. (As opposed to the English version where he practically pampers the kid). Piccolo finally becomes reformed when he sacrafices his life to save Gohan's. From that moment, he loses his desire to conquer the Earth. Later on, Piccolo merges with Nail increasing his power level over 1,000,000 allowing him to go one-on-one with Stage 2 Freeza. And in the middle of the Android Saga, he merges with his other half, Kami, and becomes the true original Piccolo once again. His various mergings do not change him physically, but internally he retains the memories of both Kami and Nail. After merging with Kami, Piccolo becomes even more philosophical than he normally is, and takes actions that put him in danger for the sake of the Earth, (such as sealing himself, Gotenks and Buu in the Room of Spirit and Time). After fusing with Kami, Piccolo makes Kami's Palace his home, and he always has a special place for Gohan in his heart through all of Dragon Ball.

  292. Bido*- A tall muscular crony of Bojack from DBZ Movie 9. He looks like a rip-off of Android 13 from DBZ Movie 7 with facial hair.

  293. Binega "Vinegar"*- The largest of the minions Garlic Jr. brings with him when he returns in the anime. Vinegar is one of the last minions to be killed.

  294. Pyon Tatto- A competitor in the Children's Division of the 25th Tenkaichi Budoukai who wins his match by default when his opponent throws a crying fit.

  295. Pirafu "Pilaf"- The great and wonderful Emperor Pilaf! Pilaf is a monster midget who shows up from time to time in Dragon Ball and always stirs up trouble of some sort. His goal is to rule the world, (with the help of his loyal assistants Shyuu and Mai), and he comes close to realizing his dream several times, but his plans are ALWAYS thwarted by Gokou at the last minute, (sometimes by mistake). He's a re-occuring character in Dragon Ball and shows up nearly twice as much in the anime. He weighs 71 lbs. and his height is.......well, he doesn't wish to diclose it.

  296. Hirudegaan "Hildegarn"*- Hildegarn is the enormous monster in DBZ Movie 13, created by a group of black magicians who cast a spell of negative energy on a menacing statue and brought it to life over 1,000 years ago on the planet Konatsu. Hildegarn normally looks like......well actually, I can't explain it. But he's a very large lumbering creature with a tail that can clean out an entire city block. He is able to undergo a metamorphosis of sorts, and emerge a more powerful creature with the ability to fly. (His second form resembles Lavos from Chrono Trigger to a degree). Hildegarn is only tangible when he's attacking, otherwise, he can instantly teleport away. Gokou defeats him with quite possibly his most powerful physical move in the anime story-line, Dragon Fist.

  297. Pinfu*- A little baby who appears in the Dragon Ball anime.

  298. Pui Pui- The guardian of the first floor of Babidi's ship. He comes from the panet Zun, a planet where the gravity is ten times the gravity on Earth. Babidi creates the arena they fight Pui Pui in to resemble Zun, and it even has gravity ten times that of Earth's. Babidi did this expecting it to be very difficult for Gokou and the rest to move around, but as we all know, they've all done training which exceeds 400g's. Vegita kills Pui Pui easily.

  299. Puuaru- Puuaru is Yamucha's shape-shifting friend born in the year 740 AD. He and Yamucha met in the year 747 AD. and became inseperable. They worked as a team to rob people who came through their desert. Puuaru has the ability to change his shape into any form and he can hold that form as long as he likes, but his strength is not increased and he can't turn into something that can get used up, (like food). He shows up quite a bit in the beginning, but he becomes less of a presence as the series progresses.

  300. Buujin*- The turban wearing midget member of Bojack's team in DBZ Movie 9. Even though he's small compared to his buddies, he's surprsingly strong and has incredible phsycic powers.

  301. Fuuragu "Frog"*- A humanoid frog who competes in the Annoyoichi Budoukai. He's not very strong, but he has a technique to expand his body to huge proportions, thus forcing his opponent out of the ring.

  302. Fuku Ya no Oyaji "Clothing Store Man"- The owner of a clothing store who is gets clothes stolen from him by Number 18 right before his eyes. He notifies the police, and two patrol-car men are dispatched to intercept her.

  303. Butsumetsu no Youna Gyaru "Large Complaining Girl"- A girl who Gokou tries to bring to Muten Roshi to be his "pretty house maid" but she's actually VERY large, ugly and irritable.

  304. Puteranodon "Pteradon"- The large Pteradon who kidnaps Buruma in the first issue of Dragon Ball so that he can eat her. Gokou smacks it over the head with his Nyoi Bo and kills it.

  305. Budouji no Kanchyou "Tournament Chairman"- The orgnizer of the 21st Tenkaichi Budoukai who is actually a dog.

  306. Budouji no Soryo Dai Hyou "Tournament Priest Charter"- The old priest who lists the competitors on the main board and charts their progression.

  307. Buyon- The guardian of the fifth floor of Muscle Tower. Buyon is a blubbery creature who can repel attacks by bouncing them back at his opponent. In order to destroy him, Gokou punches a hole in the wall which lets in freezing cold air from outside that freezes Buyon solid.

  308. Bura "Bra"- Bra is Vegita and Buruma's second child. She's born in 778 AD. Unlike Pan who seems tom-boyish, Bra seems pretty feminine and sticks around her mom. She doesn't appear to be forced to fight by her father, but she apparently loves him a lot and has a lot of pride in him.

  309. Buraku Hosa "Black Hosa"- Black Hosa is Red Sousei's servant. He obeys just about everything he's told to do, until he finds out Red's true ambition, at which point he shoots Red and takes over the Red Ribbon Army. He finds himself in a battle against Gokou in the RR's top secret weapon, the Battle Jacket. Gokou kills Black by propelling himself straight through the robotic armor, causing it to explode.

  310. Furappe Hakase "Dr. Frappe"*- Plot hole city! In the anime, Dr, Frappe was said to be the creator of Artificial Human 8. Of course as we all know it was Dr. Gero, but Toriyama was still years and years away from that point in the storyline, so the animators took it upon themselves to create Dr. Frappe. Frappe is a brilliant scientist who is forced to work for the RR Army to create Artificial Human 8. In the anime, Murasaki holds him hostage and threatens to kill him for making Artificial Human 8 a failure, but of course, Gokou rescues the day and saves Frappe, Snow and Artificial Human 8. After that experience, Frappe removes the bomb from Artificial Human 8's body, allowing him to safely live with the townspeople of Jingle Village.

  311. Furiiza "Freeza"- C'mon, if you don't know who this guy is and you're a Dragon Ball fan, you should probablly crawl out from under the rock you've been hiding beneath. Freeza is of course the biggest scumbag to walk the face of the Universe. He's basically the head of a HUGE "company" that goes around purging planets of life, and then selling them to the highest bidder. Or, if he's so inclined and in the right mood, he may just wipe out a planet for fun. Freeza sees himself as the most powerful being in the Universe, with no equal. However, Freeza's greatest fear was the legendary Super Saiya-jin, and by wiping out all but 3 Saiya-jin, he figured that he would have been safe. Well, yeah, he might have, unfortunately, he missed one. Son Gokou. Freeza has the ability to upgrade his power 3 different times, and each time he upgrades, his body actually changes to become suitable for his power. Once he powers up a third time, he has the ability to charge up to 100% energy which doesn't really change him, it just buffs him out. Freeza is supposedly killed by Son Gokou on Nameck, however, he's found and rebuilt by his father, King Kold. He goes to Earth to seek revenge, and there he's sliced and diced by Trunks and goes to Hell.

  312. Freeza no Tei "Freeza's Scouts"- Two of Freeza's unlucky scouts who happen upon Gohan and Kuririn. There power levels are both a mere 1,500. I don't think there's any need to say that they die quickly.

  313. Buriifu Hakase "Dr. Briefs"- Born sometime around the year 700 AD, Dr. Briefs is the founder of the Capsule Corporation. As it's founder, he first invented the Hoi Poi Capsule which allows fast and easy transportation of anything from magazines to entire houses. The Capsule Corporation then delved into the vehicle industry and entered the world market of auto industry in 750 AD. at which time it held a whopping 40% of the market. It's main competitor was the Red Ribbon Army which held 16% of the market, but in 778 AD, the Capsule Corp. dominated with 48% of the market to itself. Although he's a genius, Dr. Briefs is a bit ecentric, and a bit of a pervert, (some of his personal capsules are filled with nothing but porn). Some of his best used inventions were Gokou's modified space ship and Vegita's 300+g gravity ship.

  314. Buru Shogun "Blue Shogun"- The incredibly powerful, handsome, and very gay top ranking officer in the Red Ribbon Army. Blue is a vicious SOB who HATES women and is deathly afraid of mice. He proves to be a tenacious adversary who follows Gokou through the Pirate's cave, then tails him to the Kame House where he ties everyone up and sets a time-bomb next to them (they're saved by Ranchi). Finally, Gokou follows after him and they have an aerial battle which ends with Blue crash landing in the mountains near Pennguin Village. Blue is eventually beat up by Arale chan and after returning to Red Ribbon Headquarters, he's killed by Tao Pai Pai. Blue was born in 722 AD. and joined the RR Army in 750 AD. He's 5' 9" tall and weighs 153 lbs.

  315. Buru Tai Taiin "Blue's Group Leader"- One of Blue's top officers who who picks his nose and gets executed for it.

  316. Buruma "Bulma"- A teenager who is the first person from outside Mount Paozu to meet Gokou. She befriends Gokou and has him tag along as a bodyguard. She's the daughter of Dr. Briefs and is a genius. She invents the Dragon Radar, the Micro Band, and Fighting Jackets, just to name a few things. In Dragon Ball and the first half of DBZ, she's smitten by Yamucha, but she eventually loses interest in him because he's too fickle. She actually falls in love with Vegita because she notices that he's a very lonely man that needs someone. She has two children, Trunks and Bra. She was born in the year 733 AD and her home address at the Capsule Corp. is WST3338926K. Her ID number is SSC41453. Her bust size is 85cm.

  317. Buruma no mama "Bulma's mom"- Buruma's mom is a certified ditz. She is always interested in flirting with Gokou and Vegita. In the anime she even suggests that she'd like to go on a date with Vegita. Not much is known about her, but in the anime she's characterised as the steriotypical blonde air-head who loves shopping and eating expensive cakes.

  318. Burori "Brolly"- Brolly, in my opinion, is God of the movie villains. He is, without a doubt, the baddest MFer of all time. Brolly is the Legendary Super Saiya-jin in the movie story-line only. On the day of his birth he had a power level of 10,000, and his power would only increase with age. He is killed by order of King Vegita as he would be a threat to the King's power, not to mention the fact that he would outshine Prince Vegita. But before Brolly is killed, he undergoes a traumatic experience. In the crib next to him is another Saiya-jin born on the same day as him. The baby is a low-level warrior with a pathetic power level, however, the baby has a strong will and begins to cry and thrash about in his crib. His tantrum is so violent that it frightens Brolly and he cries in fear. When two Saiya-jin are born on the same day, and one dominates the other, it's said that the baby forced to cry will harbor an immense hatred towards the baby who scared it. For Brolly, the child who made him cry was named Kakarotto.

    Brolly is the main villain in DBZ Movies 8, 10 and 11, (but 11's so horrible I don't even count it). In the movie story-line, Brolly is the strongest Saiya-jin of all time. It's next to impossible to beat him one on one. In my personal opinion, only someone as powerful as Super Vegitto would have been able to take Brolly on by theirself, and that's saying a lot. Brolly is capable of being controlled by his father's mind-altering device, but when he sees Gokou, a huge rage overcomes Brolly and he breaks free of his father's device. His ultimate purpose is simply to kill Gokou. His insane rage eventually only enables him to say, "Kakarotto", in Movie 10. In Movie 8 he seems to be at least somewhat in control of his actions and he comes out with some REALLY cool lines. For instance, Gokou fires a huge Kame Hame Ha at Brolly from point blank range, (literally a foot from him). When the blast clears, Brolly is still standing un-phased, he laughs and says, "What the Hell was that supposed to be?". In Movie 8, Brolly is killed by Gokou after he absorbs all of the energy from Piccolo, Trunks, Gohan and Vegita. In Movie 10, it takes the Perfect Kame Hame Ha to beat him, (which is Goten, Gohan and Gokou all performing a Kame Hame Ha at once), including help from Trunks. In Movie 11 he uh.......gets solidfied by rain........

  319. Bun*- The leader of the ship Gohan, Kuririn and Buruma stumble upon on their trip to Nameck. His parents were killed in front of his eyes by Kiwi.

  320. Punta- A large Turkish competitor in the 25th Tenkaichi Budoukai. His opponent is Kuririn, (and naturally when one looks at Kuririn, they would automatically think, "Wuss"), so of course he bad-mouths him before the match and talks about how badly he's going to wreck him. Kuririn is so embarrassed about having to fight such a weak competitor that he KO's him with a single punch with his eyes closed.

  321. Bee- Bee is the little dog who Buu finds and befriends along with Mr. Satan. The dog is an important part of Buu's reformation, (and the creation of Old Buu). Buu bonds with the puppy and is playing catch with him, when the dog is shot by two sick humans who are going around hunting people. Buu heals the puppy, but he's enraged by the event, and of course the morons go and shoot Mr. Satan which causes him to flip and create Old Buu. The dog stays with Mr. Satan during the entire Buu fight and even saves Gohan at one point in the anime. Bee lives with Mr. Satan and Buu after the Buu Saga.

  322. Bekou "Vekou"*- Vekou is the character who is a result of the failed Fusion of Gokou and Vegita in DBZ Movie 12 due to the fact that Vegita didn't extend his index finger. He's fat and pretty disgusting. His only attack appears to be a barrage of farts which seem to slip out whenever he's punched. Vekou is only around for 30 minutes because that's the length of Fusion, but his actions are hysterical. He wobbles like a punching bag when Janenba whallops him, and when he trips, in one scene, he skids for about 100 feet. Vekou "de-Fuses" just in the nick of time before getting speared by Janenba.

  323. Bejiita "Vegita"- Vegita is the Prince of the former Saiya-jin race. He was born in 732 AD and was destined for greatest when as a child, his power level exceeded that of even his father's. Vegita comes to Earth, with his former bodyguard Nappa, searching for Dragon Balls so that he can become immortal. However, as we all know, his plan is foiled when Gokou shows starts to show up, but he comes to the realization that the Planet Nameck must have Dragon Balls as well, so he loses interest in the ones on Earth and after getting rejuvinated from his fight with Gokou, he heads over to Nameck where he eventually meets up with his old adversaries and is forced to team up with them. After the Freeza saga, Vegita is basically stuck on Earth, (although in the anime he flies around the Universe searching for Gokou), so he learns to live with it. He really doesn't care about the Earth, and he probablly would destroy it, if he didn't feel the need to defend his pride and become stronger so that he can face off against Gokou again and beat him. Vegita is pulled into the fights against the Androids, Cell and the like because he feels the need to establish his superiority, not because he has any regard for Earth. However, eventually he reforms himself and fights for the sake of the Earth when he envokes his suicidal attack to kill Buu. He later admits his faults, including the fact that Gokou has always been stronger than him, and is ressurected when all the GOOD people who died since Buu arrived are brought back to life. Vegita does marry Buruma, although the exact date is unknown. It can be assumed that it was sometime between the end of the Cell Saga, and before the Buu Saga. He has two children, Trunks and Bra.

  324. Vegita Ou "King Vegita" - The ruler of planet Vegita, and the strongest adult Saiya-jin on his planet. King Vegita is only mentioned in the manga, but he's seen in the movies and during the anime. There's one scene in particular in which King Vegita gives his son about how important pride is, and that he must never lose it. (hence Vegita's strong sense of pride). Vegita is killed by Freeza, in the anime, when he leads a small revolt against the Emperor.

  325. Bejitto "Vegitto"- Vegitto is a result of the fusion caused by the Potara earings between Gokou and Vegita. Vegitto is extraordinarily powerful, however, like all Fusion characters, he's also extremely cocky and thus plays with Buu, rather than getting right to the point and killing him. In the anime, Vegitto ia around for quite a few episodes, but his role in the manga is short lived. Fusion by the Potara earings is supposed to be forever, however, Buu absorbs Vegitto and in order to break down his components so that he can actually gain power from him, Buu's enzymes break down Vegitto into Gokou and Vegita again.

  326. Hejji, Hogu and Rii- Three girls that Oolong kidnaps to be his servants, but instead, they ignore him completely and become snobs living the good life in his luxurious home.

  327. Hebi Hime "Princess Snake"*- A giant snake temptress who lures people into her her castle on Serpent Path. She became the Snake Princess in 739 BC. and the only person who she ever tried to capture was Enma Daiou, and that was 500 years ago. When Gokou comes along she tries to steal his heart, but his sense of loyalty to his family and friends is of course far too strong, so, she just turns into a giant fire-breathing snake and tries to eat him, that's fair right?

  328. Hoi*- The little black magician who is over 1,000 years old in DBZ Movie 13, who cons Gokou and the rest into helping him open the Oracle containing Tapion so that he can assemble the monster Hildegarn. He's squished in the end of the movie by his own creation.

  329. Bojyakku "Bojack"- The main villain from DBZ Movie 9. I think he's pretty lame because there's barely any plot development for the guy at all, and I think he has like 5 lines in the whole movie. He looks like a giant blue pirate. Gohan kills him and his minions by becoming Super Saiya-jin 2.

  330. Bokujyou no Oyaji "Stock Farmer"- The cigarette smoking farmer seen in the first couple minutes of the first episode of Dragon Ball Z. He's killed by Raditzu in the manga,. but in the anime, he can be seen from time to time.

  331. Bora- The powerful Indian who lives at the base of Karin Tower with his son Upa. Bora is just like his name sounds. He's muscular, tall and a man of few words. He fends off Yellow Taisa's men by himself, but he's later speared by Tao Pai Pai and killed. When Shenron is sumoned next, Gokou's wish is that Bora be brought back to life. Bora is seen with his son in the last couple episodes of Dragon Ball Z when he gives energy to Gokou for his Genki Dama. Bora is also in the third Dragon Ball Movie.

  332. Bongo*- The massive Terminator-esque membe of Gurumesu's army in Dragon Ball Movie 1. He can smash through brick walls without feeling a thing, and will do whatever his king tells him to do, no matter how horrible or difficult it is. Gokou KO's him in a final battle with him in Gurumesu's castle after an exciting aerial battle.

  333. Maaraikoo*- A large dinsaur-like competitor in the Annoyoichi Budoukai.

  334. Marron- Marron is Kuririn and Number 18's daughter. As a baby she resembles her father, but when she gets older she looks more like her mom. Not much is seen of her in DBZ, and she doesn't fight at all, but it's clear that she loves both of her parents very much. What's funny is seeing a character like Number 18 interact with her so well.

  335. Mai- Mai is Emperor PIlaf's only competant follower. She always works with Shuu and although she's pretty bright, they both always manage to screw stuff up. Why someone like her is so loyal to a nimrod like Pilaf is beyond me.

  336. Maitei Masuku "Mighty Mask"- Mighty Mask is a..........masked competitor, (as you might have guessed), in the 25th Tenkaichi Budoukai. =Unfortunately for this poor guy, Goten and Trunks REALLY want to compete in the Adult's Division, and since no one has seen Mighty Mask's face, they assume his role. They lure him into some bushes, knock him out and steal his costume. Trunks stands on top by the eye holes, and Goten stands on the bottom and does the walking with Trunks on his shoulders. Even though it's a fairly awkward setup, they do pretty well when they fight Number 18 in the Battle Royale at the end. However, 18 figures out that it's them, and slices their costume in half, exposing them.

  337. Ma Junior no Tamago o Hirotsu Taroufuuhu "The married couple that found Ma Junior's egg"- An old man who finds the egg containing Ma Junior AKA Piccolo. The egg hatches later and Piccolo burns down the couple's house.

  338. Majin Buu- Hoooo boy. This is going to be tough. Stick with me on this. Buu was created by the magician Bibidi at around five million BC. Buu went from planet to planet destroying life. This original Buu was very small and looked like a kid. The only problem was, he was absolutely insane and HIGHLY dangerous. Bibidi had a very hard time controlling him. Finally, Buu arrived at Kaioushin Kai, the planet of the 5 Kaioushins. He killed one at a time. First the Kaioushin of the West, and then the Kaioushin of the North. He progressed to the strongest of the group, Kaioushin of the South, but instead of killing him, he absorbed him and he became Huge Buu. He basically looks like he downed a truckload of steroids. (this Buu is only seen in the manga for an instant during his final change). After that he moves on to the Kaioushin of the East, (the one we know), but Dai Kaioushin defends him, and ends up getting absorbed himself. After absorbing Dai Kaioushin, he become what we refer to as Fat Buu. He takes on the physical characteristics of Dai Kaioushin, and also inherits Dai Kaioushin's intelligence. He becomes very child-like and obiedient who will do almost anything for food. So anyway, time passes and Buu is sealed up by Bibidi. Couple million years pass and Babidi locates the sphere his father sealed Buu in. He starts to form a very small group of soldiers and begins his quest to ressurrect Buu. Lots more years pass. Buu is finally ressurected in 774 AD. He does Babidi's bidding and goes on a rampage. Eventually, he kills Babidi, and strikes out on his own. He befriends Mr. Satan and reforms himself. All is well with the world. UNTIL, the human hunters shoot Mr. Satan and Buu's dog Bee. Buu goes nuts and the steam that shoots out of the holes from all over his body gathers together and forms Old Buu. Old Buu is a tall, lanky, dark skinned and evil version of Buu. The two face off against each other and Fat Buu gets turned into a piece of chocolate. Old Buu eats the chocolate and turns into Super Buu. Super Buu is a tall muscular light-skinned version of Buu. He's intelligent, but not very vocal. Super Buu rushes up to Kami's Tower and the whole Gotenks fight takes place, yadda yadda yadda. Skipping ahead, Buu absorbs Gotenks and Piccolo. He takes on Gotenk's physical characteristics, and due to Piccolo's brain power, he becomes a frickin rocket scientist compared to what he was before. Gohan fights Buu and gets absorbed too after Gokou shows up. After absorbing Gohan his face changes slightly, his forelock becomes HUGE and his torso is covered by Gohan's gi. In short, the world is screwed. Luckily for Gokou. Vegita is taken back to Earth by Uranai Baba at that excat moment, and he teleports over to Vegita, yadda yadda yadda, and they fuse just as about Buu is about to kill the both of them. Buu gets his posterior end served to him on a silver platter, but eventually absorbs Vegitto. After being split, Gokou and Vegita run around inside Buu's stomach and eventually happen upon their buddies encased in little capsules attached to Buu. They rip out their friends, and cause Buu to revert back to normal Super Buu form. Buu realizes that he's in trouble so he phases out and actually fights them inside of himself, until Vegita finds a gold mine, Fat Buu! Buu pleads Vegita not to rip it out, but since when does Vegita listen to pleas? After ripping out Fat Buu, Gokou and Vegita escape Buu just in time to see how royally they've %##^$@ up. By removing all of their friends and Fat Buu, Buu no longer has anything that was previously in him, and reverts back to his original child-like form popularly reffered to as Kid Buu. Kid Buu wastes no time proving that he's insane by blowing up the Earth with him on it. It's after this event that the final battle takes place on Kaioushin Kai. Kid Buu is completely destroyed by Gokou's Ultimate Genki Dama. And that's just about everything you need to know about Buu.

  339. Mahou Tsukai no Kunbaba "Magical Errand Witch"- A witch who worked for the Kaioushins. One day she was admiring Rou Kaioushin's Potara earing and she took it off and tried it on. That was of course very very stupid because by doing that, she fused herself with Rou Kaioushin for eternity. But on the bright side, after fusing with her, Rou Kaioushin gained the ability to perform magical spells.

  340. Maboroshi Saiya-jin "Illusion Saiya-jin"*- The pair of fake Saiya-jin that Yamucha, Kuririn, Tenshinhan and Chazou face off against in Kami's room of illusions.

  341. Maron*- Kuririn's girlfriend who is a complete moron. She looks similar to Buruma and many people confuse the two, but she's very different as far as brain power. Kuririn tries proposing to her, but just as he's about to, she leaves him for a guy in a red sports car, (she's not loyal either). She shows up later during the Android Saga, but just for a little while.

  342. Princess Miisa*- "Miisa likes you okyday?". Sorry, bad joke. Miisa is the daughter of King Kuresu whose kingdom is being sacked by demons every night. She's kidnapped and Gokou offers to rescue her, (which of course he does).

  343. Miira kun "Little Mummy"- He may sound cute, but he sure ain't! Little Mummy is 5' 8" tall and weighs 228 lbs of pure muscle. He's third to last of Uranai Baba's fighters. Gokou KO's him.

  344. Migoren*- A human-like dog competitor in the Annoyoichi Budoukai who died 7,000 years ago.

  345. Mizugame no Monsuta "Freshwater Turtle Monster"*- Not exactly sure what it is, but from what I'm able to read, it lives around the water near Karin Tower.

  346. Misuta Satan "Mr. Satan"- The World Champion, MR. SATAN! Mr. Satan is basically the luckiest guy in all of DBZ. Majority of the people on Earth believe that he's the strongest man in the World who defeated Cell and Buu, thus rescuing the entire human race. He becomes a huge celebrity and even has a city named after him. In reality, Mr. Satan is indeed a very strong human, but he's absolutely NOTHING compared to Gokou and Co. And he lied about defeating Cell and Buu, (obviously). When Cell was killed, there was a huge flash of light and no one could see what happened so Satan claimed victory. During the Buu saga it's a different story. He sort of saved the world. When Gokou was gathering energy, he pleaded for the people of Earth to give him their energy, but barely anyone knows Gokou and they all thought it was a trixk of Buu's, so they ignored him. Mr. Satan becomes infuriated with their insubordinace and screams at them telling them that they, "You had better raise your hands because it is Mr. Satan who's fighting Buu!". And of course everyone knows Satan's voice so they all raise their hands and give up their energy, thinking that he's the one who's fighting Buu and once again, Gokou doesn't get credit for saving the World, (not that he actually wants any either). None of the Z Soldiers ever let on that they actually saved the World. They don't care for fame of any type and besides, if they ever need money all they need to do is bribe Mr. Satan. Regardless of the fact that he's definately an ego-maniac, Mr. Satan's heart really is in the right place. He loves his daughter more than anything, and would do anything for her. He befriends Fat Buu and lets him live with him. Fat Buu and Mr. Satan share the dog Bee.

  347. Misuta Satan Fyan Kurabu "Mr Satan's Fan Club"*- A group of screaming young girls who try to chase Mr. Satan down for even a glimpse of him.

  348. Misuta Popo "Mr. Popo"- Mr. Popo is Kami's faithful servant. He's lived a very long time and has served all previous Kami's. His tasks are basically to tend to the Palace, and to take care of Kami. He is quite strong and fast, even though he doesn't appear to be. When Gokou first arrived at Kami's Palace, Popo was far stronger than him. He trained Gokou for three years and taught him techniques that would later prove invaluable, such as the ability to sense ki.

  349. Minkattsun*- The large blubbery android built by Doctor Koachin in DBZ Movie 2. Gokou defeats him by blasting through his rubber-like stomach, thus deflating him.

  350. Minami no Kaiou "Kaiou of the South"- The only other Kaioushin to appear in the manga, Southern Kaiou is Northern Kaiou's rival. Of the four Kaiou's only two appear in the manga, while Gokou's trainer is one of them, Southern Kaiou is the other. The other two are only in the anime.

  351. Minami no Kaioushin "Southern Kaioushin"- The strongest of the four Kaioushins, Southern Kaioushin was the second to last of his kind to be killed by Buu. When Buu absorbed this massive deity, he became Huge Buu.

  352. Minoshiya*- Minoshiya is Tapion's younger brother, killed by Hildegarn in the beginning of DBZ Movie 13. Tapion later takes Buruma's Time Machine into the past, and rescues his brother, (although we don't get to see it).

  353. Muusu Kazoku "The Moose Family"*- In the anime, during his training with Mr. Popo, Gokou is sent on several tasks which require him to find something, or do some sort of spiritual soul searching. One of of his tasks, Gokou meets a family living in the woods. The family is HUGE. There's two parents, nine kids, and one grandfather. All of the family memebers' names are puns on sweet foods. I haven't been able to pick them all out yet, but the parent's names are Muusu "Moose" and Ekure "Eclair". The children's names are as follows: Kuuki "Cookie". Puri "Pudding" Bisuke "Biscuit". Babaro (I don't know). Donatsu "Donuts". Chyoko "Chocolate". Zeri "Jelly". Shyuku "Sugar". Kurepa "Crepe". The grandfather's name is Korinto.

  354. Muuri- Muuri is Dende and Kargo's father and the elder Nameck of his village. Just before Saichourou dies, he selects Muuri to be his successor. After the Freeza ordeal, Muuri powers up the Nameckian Dragon Balls, allowing them to return multiple people back to life with one wish.

  355. Musuka*- The corrupt owner of a circus in Satan City. He steals a little Pteradon baby named Chibi from his parents and makes him a part of the circus.

  356. Mutaito- Mutaito is Kame and Tsuru Sennins' teacher. He succesfully seals Piccolo Daimaou in the Denshi Jar with his Mafuba technique, but in envoking the attack, he also kills himself. In the anime, Gokou actually meets Mutaito and he's the first person in the series to teach Gokou about controlling his "ki". In fact, he's the first person to even mention the word, which soon becomes the explanation for the incredible energy techniques used throughout Dragon Ball.

  357. Murasaki Souchyou "Operative Purple"- The deadly ninja of a thousand techniques who works under the command of White Shogun in Muscle Tower. Gokou's fight with Murasaki is classic. It mixes classic ninja techniques, with Gokou's kooky style of repelling them, (such as pouring boiling water down a reed Murasaki uses to breathe with under-water). Murasaki is simply punched out by Gokou in the manga, but in the anime, he gets blown up by the bomb from Artificial Human 8's body. Murasaki is 5' 7" tall and weighs 135 and 1/2 lbs.

  358. Murasaki Souchyou no Kyodai "Operative Purple's Brothers"- Murasaki calls his four brothers into action to help him fight Gokou. Each is armed with different a deadly weapon.

  359. Meido Roboto "Maid Robot"- A maid robot who works in the Capsule Corporation.

  360. Megane Buta "Eyeglass Pig"- A near-sighted pig who acts as sort of a town crier for Penguin Village. He makes his announcements from atop a tree.

  361. Mezu*- The red ogre who Gokou plays tag with in order to find the secret path back to the Serpent Path.

  362. Meda Muchya*- The insane frog-like bodyguard of Slug from DBZ Movie 4, "Super Saiya-jin Son Gokou". He can make little clones of himself that distract his opponent allowing him to attack. Gokou kills him.

  363. Metarikku Gunsou "Sergeant Metallic"- A large android who Gokou is forced to fight on the third floor of Muscle Tower. Metallic only goes down after Gokou blasts his head off with a Kame Hame Ha, and even after that, he keeps attacking, but eventually he shuts down.

  364. Metaru Kuura "Metal Koola"*- A villain from DBZ Movie 6, Metal Koola is a creation of the Big Ghetti Star. He's amazingly powerful, and since he's entirely mechanical, he can regenerate body parts from internal wires and metal reserves. Gokou and Vegita both rush him at full power and manage to completely destroy him, only to then be faced with thousands of copies of him manufactured by the Big Ghetti Star. They are defeated by the Metal Koola's and hooked up to the core of the Big Ghetto Star, where Koola's brain resides.

  365. Mera*- A beautiful demon who helps Gokou escape from the Underworld with Princess Miisa.

  366. Menmen*- Jyaga's nephew who carries out messages for his uncle in DBZ Movie 11.

  367. Moai Ou "King Moai"*- The evil king of Arlia who took rule of the planet by force. Vegita kills him by shooting a rock through his chest.

  368. Moukeko- The burly foul-mouthed monogolian who Pan faces in the 28th Tenkaichi Budoukai. He makes fun of her and torments her in the anime. She beats him with just a slap and a kick. He's 7' 5".

  369. Moumoku no Shyonen "Blind Boy"- A Blind Boy who becomes Buu's friend. Buu wonders why the boy isn't terrified of him, (it's because he can't see). Buu heals the boy's eyes so that he can see him, (Buu figures that when he does, he'll be frightened). But when the boy regains his site he thanks Buu very much and the two chat for a while. The boy asks for some milk, so Buu happily finds a human, turns him into a carton of milk and brings it back to the boy. The two chat for a little bit, and finally decides to leave. The whole scene sets you up for a gag because it's designed to make the reader think that Buu somewhat reforms himself after meeting the boy, but in the last panel of the comic, Buu happily blows up a nearby city.

  370. Yaochyun*- A large man Gokou meets in the Goro Goro Mountains during his training for Mr. Popo. Gokou thinks that the man is supposed to teach him to be "Quiet Like the Sky", but the guy is actually just a nobody.

  371. Yakon- A huge demonic creature with enormous blades on his arms, Yakon is one of Babidi's gaurdians. Gokou has to face Yakon in complete darkness, so in order to locate Yakon, he turns Super Saiya-jin, and locates him with the light of his ki, unfortunately, Yakon eats ki! But Gokou uses that ability against him. He pushes his ki to the max, and Yakon explodes when he absorbs too much.

  372. Yajirobe- Yajirobe is a sword-wielding, vagabond monk. He first meets Gokou during the Piccolo Daimaou Saga and befriends him under an odd set of circumstances. While the two are talking, Piccolo Daimaou's child, Cymbal sneaks up on them. Both Gokou and Yajirobe are eager to fight him, but Yajirobe wins a game of paper-scissors, so he gets to fight him. He slices the monster in half. Yajirobe is far from being the coward he's portrayed as in the English version. Granted he's not always running head-first into danger, but he's not a baby. Yajirobe later rescues Gokou from his first encounter with Piccolo Daimaou and takes him to Karin to drink the Super God Water, (and get healed with a Senzu). Yajirobe takes a liking to Karin's abode, so he stays with him after the Piccolo Daimaou Saga ends. Yajirobe shows up a lot in Dragon Ball, up to the appearance of Freeza. After that, he shows up during the beginning of the Android Saga, but that's about it. Of course he makes a few more appearances in the manga, (and many more short ones in the anime), but he loses a lot of his importance, like many of the original Z Soldiers near the end of the series. Yajirobe is 5' 4" tall, (he's a little self conscious of his weight so he doesn't give it out).

  373. Yamuu- Yamuu is a waste of a character. He does next to nothing, and no background info is given on him, but he does look sorta cool. Yamuu is Supopo Bitchi's assistant, and thus, a tool of Babidi who was once a normal human. He works with Supopo Bitchi to gather energy for his master at the 25th Tenkaichi Budoukai. After they steal energy from Gohan, Yamuu and Supopo Bitchi leave the tournament and deliver the energy to Babidi. Their master thanks them by making them explode.

  374. Yamucha- Born in 733 AD, Yamucha began as a common thief. He stoles Capsules from wanderers who traveled through his desert with the help of his friend Puuaru. Yamucha originally wanted to make a wish with the Dragon Balls to do away with his horrible fear of women, but during the time that he shadows Buruma and the others, he learns to deal with females. He and Buruma get together after the whole ordeal with Emperor Pilaf, and become boyfriend and girlfriend. This carries on for a loooooong time. Yamucha plays a large part of most major events in Dragon Ball, and is usually around. After the 22nd Tenkaichi Budoukai, he trains with Kuririn and Tenshinhan at Kame Sennin's and becomes a member of the Turtle School of Martial Arts, as depicted on his orange gi. Yamucha is killed by a Saibai Man during the Saiya-jin Saga, and Buruma realizes how much she loves him after she loses him, so she decides to go help the other search for the Dragon Balls on Nameck. Yamucha then spends time training on Kaiou Samma's planet and is eventually tearfully reunited with Buruma later. However, his time with Buruma was short lived. Yamucha always had a problem with young girls chasing after him, and although he wasn't always interested in them, Buruma always discovered him in awkward situations which weren't his fault, so Buruma loses interest in him and heads over to Rancho del Vegita. Yamucha is not hit too hard by the turn of events, and still remains good friends with Buruma. His presence is zilch by the end of DBZ, and even when he's around, he doesn't do anything useful, this is partly due to the fact that after the Cell Saga, he loses interest in training and settles down. Yamucha is never seen with another woman. Yamucha is 6' tall and weighs 151 lbs.

  375. Yuudou Roboto "Guidance Robot"*- A comical robot from DBZ Movie 6 who is only funny in the fashion which he happily presents horrific news to his captives. Example, "Hello hello, welcome everyone. Okay, please settle down. Allright, now I'm going to kill all of you and give your energy to the Big Ghetti Star.". He's remarkably powerful for his size and serves as the executioner and warden of the ship. He blows up when Gokou and Vegita overload the Big Ghetti Star.

  376. Yuzukaa*- Gokou's ancient and feeble driving instructor who miraculously survives Gokou's many attempts at driving. After he encounters Gokou and Piccolo rescue a school bus from falling off a cliff, he tells them that people like them don't even need to know how to drive, (which of course delights Gokou and Piccolo).

  377. Yoodon*- A ten year-old motocyclist who provides the getaway bike for Gohan and the other orphans when they steal apples from a local market. He leads Police on a wild chase through the town's streets.

  378. Raichi*- A mind-altering alien who tries to trap Gohan, Kuririn and Buruma on a desolate planet by clouding their minds, and then stealing their space ship with the help of his alien friend Zaakuro. His plans are halted by Gohan and Kuririn.

  379. Raimu "Lime"*- A girl Gohan meets one day in the forest after completing his training for the Cell Game. He rescues her from a fast moving river and mistakenly grabs her breasts in the process. She runs off calling him a pervert. Later, Gohan meets her in Chazke Village and finds out that her parents were killed by Cell. An old bartender took her in and cared for her.

  380. Rakasei*- One of the tiny purple twins in DBZ Movie 3 who worked for Taurus.

  381. Radeitsu "Raditzu"- Gokou's older brother who is one of the four survivors of the destruction of planet Vegita. He comes to Earth searching for his brother to force him to come work with him and the remaining Saiya-jin. Although the word "work" really means destroying planets and wiping out entire civilizations. Gokou wants no part of it, so Raditzu steals his son as an impetus. He threatens to kill Gohan if Gokou doesn't kill 100 Earthlings by the next day. Gokou and Piccolo team up to take down Raditzu, (who at the time is absurdly stronger than either of them). During the battle, Gohan reveals his hidden power for the first time, (well, that is if you're not counting the movies or anime). In order to defeat Raditzu, Gokou sacrafices himself and holds him in place while Piccolo fires the Makkankosappo straight through both of them. Raditzu dies, but not before gloating about how Piccolo, and everyone on Earth will soon feel pain and suffering when his Saiya-jin buddies arrive to utilize the Dragon Balls. Piccolo delivers the final blow which is not seen in the manga or anime.

  382. Ranchi "Lunch"- Ranchi is Kame Sennin's house maid retrieved by Gokou and Kuririn for the dirty old man as their first task. Ranchi happily carries out her work for Kame Sennin and never realizes that the ancient pervert is constantly trying to grab, poke, rub or catch of glimpse of her panties or bra. Most of the time, his schemes are foiled when Ranchi sneezes, causing her to change into an evil blonde haired Ranchi who robs banks for fun, and loves shoot outs, but when she sneezes again, she returns to her normal innocent self. Ranchi is in Dragon Ball quite a bit and develops a crush on Tenshinhan in early Dragon Ball Z episodes, but as with other side characters, she eventually tapers off to nothingness. She appears in the last episodes of DBZ and gives her energy to Gokou for his Ultimate Genki Dama.

  383. Ranfan- Ranfan is a competitor in the 21st Tenkaichi Budoukai who uses the fact that she's a "defensless" woman as a weapon. For example, she shrieks when someone is about to hit her, causing them to pause, and in that time, she'll deliver a crushing punch or kick. If that technique fails, then she strips and tries to shock or embarrass her opponent. Namu is only able to defeat her by closing his eyes and attacking her without, "looking upon her womanly flesh.". Ranfan was born in 726 AD. She's 5' 5" tall and weighs 111 lbs. Her home address is WWB131348C.

  384. Rikuumu "Reekuumu"- Reekuumu the second strongest member of the Ginyu Tokusentai, and also the cockiest. He's constantly talking trash to Vegita, and beats the hell out of him at the same time. (Which succedes in sending Vegita off the deep end). Reekuumu has a plethora of attacks to his credit, and most of them are named simple stupid things like "Reekuumu Kick!" or in the anime "Reekuumu Body Attack!". Reekuumu is KO'ed with a single punch from Gokou and later killed by Vegita.

  385. Rito Sei-jin "People of planet Rito*- I'm not totally sure but I believe the people of Rito are the orphans that Gohan, Kuririn and Buruma meet in outer space. All of the adults on the planet were killed by Freeza's men and the children escaped on a large mirrored space ship.

  386. Rushifyaru "Lucifer"*- The villain from DB Movie 2 who is a blood-eating demon. His goal is to destroy the sun and create eternal darkness with the help of an enormous laser cannon. Unfortunately, the focusing crystal needs to be "awake" or energized in order for it to work. He "awakens" the crystal, (known as the Sleeping Princess), and places it in the cannon, but the cannon's barrel is set off course by Gokou's Kame Hame Ha, and it fires directly at Lucifer, annihilating him.

  387. Rushifyaru no Shitsuji "Lucifer's Servant"*- Lucifer's Igor-esque servant who has a vast, and creepy, knowledge of blood.

  388. Rezun "Raisin"*- One of the two purple twins in DBZ Movie 3 who work for Taurus. They attack together at the same time, thus overwhelming their opponent.

  389. Redo Shyaku Dan "Red Shock Organization"*- An evil crime syndication which pulls off several heists in Satan City. Videl and the Great Saiyaman put an end to the evil gang by defeating their leader and having him arrested.

  390. Redo Sousei "Red Leader"- The leader of the infamous Red Ribbon Army. He wishes to have the Dragon Balls to grant his greatest wish, and thousands upon thousands of men join his army when they produce images of world power and the such, however, in the last episodes of the Red Ribbon Saga, Red reveals to his servant, Black Hosa, that he was going to wish to be taller, (the guy's a midget). Black is stunned by the news and shoots Red in the forehead out of contempt, (if you found out you'd been working for a guy who was creating havoc across the world just to wish to be taller, you'd be a bit peeved yourself).

  391. Redo no Kau Neko Mitaina Dobutsu "Red's Animal Cat"*- A vicious little creature who likes a cross between a cat and a Gremlin. It sits on Red's lap in the anime, and attacks anyone it feels needs a good thrashing. It even bites Red himself in the hand and draws blood.

  392. Redo Ribbon Gun no Kapuseru Roboto "Red Ribbon Military Capsule Robot"- A robot stored in a Capsule that has all sorts of military actions programmed into it. Gokou discovers one and asks it to fly a plane for him. The Robot has a snotty attitude, and crashes the plane just outside Jingle Village. Gokou is rescued from the wreckage by Snow.

  393. Remuria "Lemlia"*- The Princess of planet Arlia who was forced to leave her husband and marry the evil King Moai.

  394. Rou Kaioushin "Revered Kaioushin"- The ancient Kaioushin sealed in the Z Sword by an evil magician 15 generations ago. Apparently, Kaioushin's live a realllllllly long time since he was sealed in the sword around 75 million BC. Rou Kaioushin in released from the Z Sword when Gohan shatters it while testing it on hard materials. Rou Kaioushin then begins his power-up spell on Gohan, however, he needed a little impetus, (Gokou offered him nude pictures of Buruma). Rou Kaioushin is able to do magic because he is fused with a witch by the power of the Potara earings.

  395. Rou Gakushya "Revered Scholar"*- A scholar who lives in a volcano researching the life of the Hikui bird.

  396. Roboto "Robot"*- Robot Number C-6 SSS Type who Gohan finds in the underground ruins of an ancient civilization. The robot was trapped in the ruins for 80 years and was sleeping for eternity, until Gohan awoke him. At first he finds Gohan annoying, but the boy grows on him, and he rescues Gohan from being crushed in a cave-in. The robot dies at the end of the episode, but the whole event makes Gohan mentally and emotionally stronger than he was before.

  397. Wakusei Furiiza Nanba 79 no Kanseiin "Freeza Planet Number 79 Communications Leader"- The first person who sounds the alert that Vegita was returning from his trip to Earth and was in need of medical support.



    Other Characters


    For some reason or another, these characters were not listed in the Character Guide in DBZ Daizenshyu 7, but were listed in Daizenshyu 3 and 5. I will be continuing the numbered list, I'm just pointing out that these characters come from different sources.



  398. Atora "Atla"*- Atla is Lemlia's husband and was imprisoned by the cruel King Moai. Atla is released from prison by Nappa and Vegita, (well, actually, Nappa and Vegita just escape and Atla follows them). He is reunited with his wife at the end of the episodes, and then blown to bits when Vegita destroys their planet from outer space.

  399. Annoyoichi Budoukai Anaunsa "After-Life Martial Arts Tournament Announcer"*- The announcer for the Annoyoichi Budoukai. He has a mushroom for a head.

  400. Aruhua Sei-jin "People of the planet Aruhua"*- A civilization wiped out by Buu 5 million of years ago.

  401. Eigo no Sensei "English Teacher"*- Gohan's English teacher at Orange Star High School, (English as in the language, not literature).

  402. Eme "Amy"*- An adolecent orphan who Gohan meets when he escapes from his training.

  403. Ounton Ou "King Wonton"- The king of a fairly large village who holds a martial arts tournament in his palace to decide who will be the village's head martial arts teacher.

  404. Ookami "Wolf"*- Early on in the anime, Gokou fights off a pack of hungry wolves to get himself some dinner.

  405. Oo Tokage "Great Lizard"*- A lizard that Goten plays with while his brother is busy training.

  406. Isha san "Mr. Doctor"- Gokou's doctor who fixes him up after his fight with Vegita.

  407. Oguri "Ugly"- A nasty pitcher who enjoys walking his opponents by pitching fast balls at their kidneys. He despises Yamucha though, since he's the only person who's hit a home run from his pitches.

  408. Kaka*- An artist hired to paint a picture of Red Sousei. Red is extremely pleased with the picture because Kaka draws him as being very tall.

  409. Kuresu Ou "King Kuresu"*- Princess Miisa's father. His kingdom is terrorized by demons every night, but Gokou seals the demons in the Underworld and saves the town.

  410. Kairiki Otoko "Gaurd Man"*- A hulking gaurd who watches the animals' cages in the Satan City Circus. He has a short fight with the Great Saiyaman when he rescues the stolen Pteradon baby.

  411. Kagaku no Sensei "School Teacher"- The teacher who introduces Gohan to his new class at Orange Star High School.

  412. Kangofu "Nurse"- The young nurse who takes care of Gokou after his battle with Vegita. Muten Roshi has the hots for her.

  413. Karinto*- An old fisherman who teaches Gokou to be "Quite Like the Sky".

  414. Gosoushya no Otoko Tachi "Men from the Orphanage"- A group of men who try to take the orphans, living in their old town destroyed by a tidal wave, to an orphanage. Every day, the orphans deter them by tiring them out, or hurling rocks at them.

  415. Gora*- A tall ogre who gaurds the entrance to the Underworld with Mera.

  416. Keikan A and B "Police Officers A and B"- Two police officers who chase after the Blonde-haired Ranchi. Gokou and Kuririn rescue her from them.

  417. Kyoryu "Dinosaur"- The large T-Rex who chases Gohan around. After Gohan's six months of survival training, he actually chases the dinosaur around, and chops off pieces of his tail for food.

  418. Kyo Jin "Big Person"- A huge muscular man who faces Kuririn in the Elimination Round of the 22nd Tenkaichi Budoukai. Kuririn simply grabs him by the finger, and hurls him through a brick wall.

  419. Saru no Oyako "Monkey Family"*- A monkey child and mother who befriend Gokou when he saves them from the Red Ribbon Army.

  420. Seeberu Taiga "Sabertooth Tiger"*- A large wildcat who appears in the very first episode of Dragon Ball Z and attacks Gohan. He later meets up with the Sabertooth Tiger during his survival training in the anime, and the two become friends.

  421. Shoboshi "Fire Fighter"*- A fireman who is on the scene when a large fire breaks out on a high floor of a building in Satan City.

  422. Taro- Umigame's child who literally drops in for a visit in the anime.

  423. Dai Gyo "Huge Fish"- The huge fish which Gokou kills in the first Dragon Ball comic. The same type of fish shows up throughout Dragon Ball/Z in the anime and movies.

  424. Debu*- A fat drunk in a western bar where Ranchi makes her first appearance in the anime.

  425. Chibi*- A short drunkard in the bar where Ranchi makes her first appearance in the anime.

  426. Chinpira A and B "Troublemaker A and B"*- Two rowdy guys who try to make everyone in Chazke Village move into a Shelter Dome.

  427. Tori "Bird"- A white bird who has a Dragon Ball in its nest. It flies off with the Dragon Ball after being startled by gunshots, and gets eaten by a Pteradon, along with the Dragon Ball.

  428. Doberuman "Dobermen"*- Shuu's squad of attack dogs who are sent to stop Yamucha, Gokou and the others from escaping Emperor Pilaf's palace.

  429. Chourou "Great Elder"*- A village elder of a small town holding a festival in honor of their Mountain God. Kuririn,Tenshinhan, Chaozu and Yamucha stumble upon his village and rescue it from a volcanic eruption.

  430. Choukyoushi "Circus Trainer"*- A cruel ringmaster who ceaslessly whips the baby Pteradon Chibi and forces him to perform for on-lookers.

  431. Chyuri no haha "Chyuri's Mama"*- The mother of a little girl who lives in the Goro Goro Mountains.

  432. Dokutaa "Doctor"- The head doctor on Freeza Planet Number 79. He takes charge of tending Vegita's wounds when he returns from Earth.

  433. Nishi no Kaiou "Kaiou of the West"- A tiny monocle-wearing Kaiou who acts as Northern Kaiou's adversary during the Annoyoichi Budoukai. His greatest student is Paikuhan, and he's always boasting about how much stronger Paikuhan is than any other Kaiou's pupil, (particularly to Northern Kaiou).

  434. Noppo*- A tall drunk who's in the western type bar where Ranchi makes her first appearance in the anime.

  435. Baatenda A "Bartender A"*- An old western-type bartender who serves Ranchi a drink when she saunters into a bar as her good-self.

  436. Baatenda B "Bartender B"*- A young peppy bartender who serves Ranchi when she's depressed over Tenshinhan's death.

  437. Babidi no Buka "Babidi's Subordinate Staff"*- A bunch of weak low-level soldiers who are killed instantly by Gohan when he descends to the bottom of Babidi's ship with Kaioushin.

  438. Paoru "Paul"*- The top fighter from a small village at the foot of a seemingly dormant volcano. He takes a liking to Kuririn.

  439. Taitanzu no Kantoku "The Titan's Manager"*- The manager of the major league baseball team Yamucha plays on.

  440. Hi Ou "Queen Hi"*- The mother of Princess Miisa, and the wife of King Kuresu.

  441. Higashi no Kaiou "Kaiou of the East"- The only female Kaiou. She isn't very strong but she is the After-Life's greatest Hover Bike rider, and is always looking for a good challenger. She's also very hard on all of her pupils.

  442. Buruberi "Blueberry"*- One of Freeza's scouts who finds Buruma. She tells him about the Dragon Balls and what they can do, which intrigues him, so he follows Buruma into the sea searching for them, but she traps him, and he's eaten by a giant crab along with his companion.

  443. Heishi*- Sword carrying soldiers of the Underworld.

  444. Hodouin Jyosei "Orphanage Woman"*- The head of the orphanage. She and her men try to round up the children remaining from a terrible tidal wave that destroyed an entire town. But she is always chased off by the kids. When Pigero leaves the children, she finally succeeds and moves them to the orphanage.

  445. Minto "Mint"*- A little girl who lives in a village at the foot of a dormant volcano with her brother Paul. Kuririn has a crush on her.

  446. Monban*- Spear hurling soldiers of the Underworld.

  447. Monsuta "Monster"*- A big dragon-type creature who Kame Sennin, Yamucha, and others battle to retrieve a Dragon Ball that it has. Kame Sennin defeats it by farting on it.

  448. Mohikan "Mohichan"-One of Yamucha's opponents in the Elimnation Round of the 22nd Tenkaichi Budoukai. He KO's him with a powerful elbow to the face.

  449. Raochyuu*- The old man living in Chazke Village who takes care of a little girl named Lime whose parents were killed by Cell. He may be old, but he's a skilled Martial Artist.

  450. Razuberi "Raspberry"- A human-like scout for Freeza. He finds Buruma with his companion Blueberry. When Buruma tells them about the Dragon Balls' power, he doesn't believe her, but Blueberry drags him into following Buruma, which just results in both of them getting eaten by a giant crab.

  451. Rikishi- A sumo wrestler beaten by Tenshinhan in the Elimination Round of the 22nd Tenkaichi Budoukai.

  452. Refurii "Referee"*- The vegetable themed referees for the Annoyoichi Budoukai.

  453. Romu*- The little boy who finds Gohan stranded on a beach. He takes Gohan to a safe place, and cares for him until he wakes up. Romu and Gohan become good friends.


    Well my friends, there you have it. Over 400 characters! This took me over 50 hours of translation and typing so I really hope you've enjoyed reading it. Remember, try to use this in conjunction with Fists of the Dragon and some of the moves will be easier to visualize or understand. Now you should be a veritable well of DB/Z information!
